Much needed info. I changed the multifunction switch on my challenger and was having the exact same problem thanks man!!

I think I was off one revolution as well, I got the backup lines to now show it's straight when I put it in reverse. But my "Service Electronic Stability Control" light is still on. I don't show any codes with my cheap bluetooth code reader. How can I clear the message. I don't think my cruise control works until this gets cleared. Thanks. I have a 2015 Dodge Charger.

The rack and pinion steering rod shaft stick is Upside down

When I turn left on my 300, ABS, ESP and power steering lights shows, and sometimes when driving in a straight line or parked some times this happens, if I turn off the car it won't start until I swap the fuel pump relay with any one from the fuse box at the front.
This is weird. Take it to someone that knows whatthey are doing
@@DallasAutoDiag I fixed it, it was just the bolt next to the front fuse box, I tightened it and the car worked just fine, and all the fault codes in the computer disappeared

Doing this also fixed the headlights issue I used to have, I installed the 450W LED, it used to turn off, then I removed them and put back the halogen bulbs which requires less power. Now I reinstalled the LEDs and they work fine.

and mine turns on while im driveing no turning it to right or left will activate esc service indicator and when i turn off vehicle it goes away and turns back when i drive the vehicle

Useful information, I’m getting code c005122 on my 2020 charger. I purchased a theft vehicle and the shop started installing parts on it. I had it aligned and it seems to track straight but I had that msg and light on the dash. My lines when I revers are total opposite of my steering wheel. How can read the angle numbers without a computer like yours? I have a similar scanner but mine says I need some type of cable for 2018 and up

Received my cable and tried with mt xpax100 stool scanner but I don’t see an option to read the steering. I seen steering but all it does is clear codes and reset with no other options. I might need a different scanner
@@angmunozable since you were able to access the steering module, now I think its a scanner limitations as you said.
My lines are opposite of the steering wheel in either way. Any idea on which way to turn the clockspring
You can slowly move one direction and see if it's the correct one. If not, just turn it into the other direction.

Repaced multifunction switch and it is doing same thing. But you still need computer to do this
