Ultimately, that "pursuit" is simply our "why" that Simon has been talking about for years. That is what drives us, and it gives us courage beyond our own perceived abilities. Find your why and use it to drive everything you do, and you will accomplish unimaginable things.
At 25:00 min it totally got to me that the processing moment is also related to the video Simon talks about dealing with traumatic experiences. Black people have being put aside and not dealing with it, so many feelings from the past and the present that is shocking and yet is being suppressed and is the same for the white people that know the past and sees the present but yet nothing is done and its that uncertainty of do I do something or leave it how it has been this whole time and if I can do something what can I do. I simply love listening to this podcasts thank you so much for inspiring and being optimistic. Let's fight for our why.
Awesome conversation. I wouldn't have thought you guys are introverts at all and I so get Guy Raz's introverted behaviours. Both of you shared so many good points and to pick one, I would have to say it's the one on pursuit. Whether we call it pursuit, interest or purpose, basically as long as we feel that it's meaningful to us, we hold a certain intensity towards something, big or small, it does push us to take action, to risk it and go beyond our comfort zone. It probably looks like courage to most people and be labelled as that, however for the person it's a necessary step albeit uncomfortable to fulfill his/her vision/principle/value/goal in life. Thank you for continuing to inspire.
Wow amazing and inspiring ❗ Guy Raz, you are courageous!! To pursue the truth or just cause you find it easy because courage will be present. Our success is the interaction between people and building great relationships leaving them better. And as well as admitting wrongs, apologizing, forgiving and trying to restore peace and equilibrium. I love the line, "you're here to give". Yes it's easily mistaken on big personalities to pass as extroverts when they are actually intoverted. We do feel depleted and need our quiet, peaceful environment to replenish ourselves. 🙏 Thank you Mr Sinek 💘 💘.

Love the talk and your definition of legacy: it’s not what you leave behind, it’s how far forward you pushed the needle 👏
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Social skill is the most challenging part in my life
