this might be a question outside of your scope but I was wondering if a legit professional photo shoot is necessary for submitting an application/adding images to your portfolio. for context im a broke college student lol and I have seen that good photo shoots can cost quite a bit of money (i dont really have photography expertise/experience so idk how viable it would be for me to submit basic photos of my myself that i took on my phone). fyi i am rlly interested in runway specifically (tho i am short; 5'9-5'10ish, male. idk if the height takes me out of the running). any answer would be super helpful, last thing i would want to do is to pay a fortune for photos.
Collaborating with other stylists, photographers. It’s good for you and them! It’s always a good idea to show that you can be versatile and work good on a team:) but also it’s not necessary. Just my opinion based on my experience :)
Agree with Sharon's comment, it's great to collaborate with other industry professionals while you work on your portfolio. Also to submit digitals you can just take simple photos with a tripod or a friend can take it. Try to use natural light against a light color background ☺ Hope this helps
I wouldn't say it is absolutely necessary, but it can really help your modeling career. Great to find other people to work with and as I mentioned in this video many clients request to see the social media for jobs.
Great info😍😍
Thank you! 💫

also is social media absolutley necessary? I have handles but I have never posted on them at all; will that hurt chances of recruitment?
