as far as i can remember there was an article in the german magazin "oldtimer markt" about the story of the engine.. they took the basic block and added the cosworth dohc head and like in this version the kugelfischer injection.. you can google the history how the built the car back in the days! pretty interesting

in some interview racers said when they was driving this beast and nurburgring on that long stright part, motor made painfull sound and drivers had to scream, to balance that engine noise. that was written in auto moto und sport youngtimer classic this month
