Looks like the Advanced mode is what Melodic Flow v1 does/did, and everything else is new functionality. Thanks for continuing to develop this and even more thanks for making it a free upgrade. Can't wait to try out the new features.
Yes, exactly! I took MelodicFlow 1.0 and put the functionality into the "Advanced mode". The Advanced mode is still a great way to harmonize melodies to chord progressions, but the other modes need less setup time and are quicker to use.
Thank you for this lovely update Hauke. Can you also please make sure that you make more future videos on how to use this plugin in intricate detail, so we can make full use of it. By the way, I am still wondering when you will actually planning to roll out the Sundog 4 update, which I am eagerly waiting for? If you have made the necessary changes, so that this time it can run also as a plugin inside the DAW too..
Thank you :)!! Will see what I can do. PS: Sundog will never be able to run inside the DAW. Unfortunately, the programming language that I used when I wrote Sundog 1.0 cannot be used to create plug-ins :/.
@@feelyoursoundHQ Can you perhaps let Sundog use a VST inside of it, so that when we render audio, sundog will use that synth, or make sundog use a separate VST for each midi track?
This plugin (Advanced Mode) is useful even for piano players. It can open up a lot of possibilities for any musician (of any skill) who is interested in a more ‘modular’ or ‘generative’ workflow. Very cool. I’ll have to buy it.
I just wanted to ask if you could add a "chord progression" companion plugin that Melowdic Flow can instantly recognize, it shouldn't produce sound. It just needs to communicate MIDI data to the main Plugin. I should paste/drop a MIDI chord progression on the companion plugin(set and forget) and play the entire MIDI keyboard of 88 keys and not just the keys on the right side of the MIDI keyboard.
There is no mode available that works like "press one key and MelodicFlow will generate a chord for you". However, you can send an existing chord progression through MelodicFlow in "Advanced mode". You can then trigger the currently active chord with a black trigger note.
Interesting. Demoing. Setup exactly like pdf. However, many notes drop out for me. Unstable. Have to stab key few times to get it playing. Midi light active in daw. Standalone vst playback fine. Abe11, mf vst2, win10. Any ideas what is issue? Also: any way to disable mf forced midi record when daw playback? (Fear its using midi resources if sm daw users will nvr use it)
Update. Another test. Vsti routed to MF correctly. Rec armed MF track. Adding another Rec armed on a seperate standalone vsti. Playback both with single note on keyboard and MF dropping numerous note triggers but standalone constant. ???

@@feelyoursoundHQDoesn't really matter it is awesome as a standalone app.

Thank you :)! Yes, the Advanced Mode (aka MelodicFlow 1) can be very interesting for generative workflows indeed 👍.

Great video. I have already purchased it.
Awesome! I wish you a lot of joy with it :)!
I bought your full package some time ago and love it, so any chance of an upgrade price?
It's a free update for all MelodicFlow 1 users :)!
@@feelyoursoundHQ Oh, great. I installed and it was registered automatically. Many thanks.
Nice. I have a doubt.
I can play a song in piano fluently on Piano Keyboard in a scale. Can this add corresponding play chords?

I think there is an issue when you have more then 1 instance of MF loaded in DAW. Not sure. Its erratic or maybe i"m missunderstanding the program
