Come join some AMSU events (AMS2 if you are using ti at all). We race Tuesday and have teamed up with 2 other communities for events on Thursday and Friday. Great regular drivers. Password protected servers. Even had Erwin in couple of recent races racing with us so would be a pleasure to add one more AMS1 regular come join us on track in AMS2.
@@JturnRacing I know. I have all the AMSU race notifications in my Discord. It's complicated (beyond YT comments). On one hand, I would really love to do some races again. On several other hands, there are things that discourage me (a few sometimes related to the races themselves, most others...not really...)😩 I almost joined the recent Caterham race (Montreal), but I was really tired and also had a lot of work to do, so once again I had to pass (and took a nap instead). Maybe someday soon...
Keep in mind I am comparing to a G27 clamped to a desk (previously setup). It's much better. It has flex but I don't notice it at all. I'll consider doing a 3months of use video to highlight any issues. Compared to what I had this is solid. I enjoyed making it and had the equipment and skills to do it. I wouldn't change much if I was to do it again but I'll try to cover those if I do another video. In short I recommend the design. I've got simforge pedals arriving today so once I have those on and used for a while I'll do a recap video.
Oh those are some powerful puns. I keep having to mention to the Mrs when I come home from the local DIY store that "I've got wood". . . But unfortunately she is not impressed with my wood.

Neat setup! Been thinking of building with the same instructions. How’s the lateral rigidity, considering you have a DD wheel?
