love the Rivian news, we need all mfgs to show more detail on charging sessions. Never sure if de-rating is due to cars or chargers and the cars know, we need them to share so we know
Love what Rivian is doing with rating chargers. This should be made open source for all EV. EV DCFC charging should be as reliable as a cell phone connection. It's not often a cell phone does not work. But comparing the two cell is way ahead of EV charging. The funny thing is they probably use a cell modem to talk to the internet to phone home.
One of the things I always wonder when a technology company has a large layoff including senior management, "Did that company just gift a bunch of experience to its competitors?"
it is something senior shareholders should be pressing on ?? to lose the SVP of the battery train etc which is core to Tesla is a big warning to shareholders surely ?

They don't need to. Lotus is still around, but Tesla (and wall street) then needs to realize it won't have 50 factories and take over the world.

Abandoning the $25,000 EV for robo-taxis makes zero sense. Governments won't allow it for many, many years outside of small, controlled "test" sections of a none overcrowded city. And everytime there's an eccident, the city government bring them all to a halt. Elon is definitely begginig to lose it.
The only thing I can think of is they plan on making the Model 3 the said $25,000 car. Afterall, late last year the Model 3 was going for $25,000 in a couple of states after the federal rebate coupled with the state's incentives.
Base model 3 is 39k. How will owners feel about the huge depreciation?
Tesla is really loosing it, thankfully we have Rivian 😊❤❤. And the Alfa Romeo is just nailed it with Junior name😂😂😂
Tesla losing its key people is a boon for other companies.
If Elon ever leaves a leadership role in Tesla the stock price will double. It's not a startup anymore and needs real leadership.
