I love watching your life on the farm. I am 73 years. If I had my life to live over...I would love to live more like your family. Your children are blessed.
I live for your RUclips videos. My life has changed for the better..... I cook so much more than I use to and everyone seems to love what I cook!!!!
I love that so much!
I finally got my sourdough bread to come out well. It's been great to have for family (they love it). I've been meaning to try your English Muffins, and it looks easy. Eggs Benedict is one of my favorite breakfasts. Can't wait to make it!
I wish I had a friend like you close by Lisa, I could learn so much ....
Love your gas stove and cast iron pans you used to make your delicious, healthy breakfast! Thank you.☀️
I learned a great trick for cooking lots of poached eggs at once! I love making eggs Benedict for my family but never liked how long it took to poach each egg. I fill a large skillet with water a little over half full (about 2 inches) and then bring to boil. Then when gently boiling I crack in a bunch of eggs along the outside, leaving a little room in between each one. After gently boiling for about 2 minutes, I turn off the heat and let them sit in the water for 10 minutes. Then I scoop them out and they are perfect and I can make about 6 at a time! Just search "poached eggs in a skillet" to find a more detailed method. Enjoy!
What a great idea! I’m going to try this. Thanks for sharing. 😊
I love it “I always double that!” Yes mam!!! Lots of mouths to feed! Haha same here!!!!
I made your sourdough blueberry muffins today, so yummy. The muffins were the first thing that I made with the discard.I made the sourdough starter following your recipe and it was so easy. For a couple of days I thought that the starter was a dud, but I kept feeding it and then it started growing again. For years I was so intimidated to make sourdough bread. My husband encouraged me to just try. Thanks so much for everything you do. God bless you and your family.😊😊
Happy to hear you pushed through...so many people are too afraid to try or quit when they don't understand.
Your english muffins are a staple in our house since they require no shaping/cutting and because they are absolutely delicious!
I've been making them 3x a week for the past 2 weeks, and I have a 7 week old! That should show how simple it is.
Hi,
I really enjoy watching your videos, even though all my children are grown and many of my grandchildren are almost grown.
Hon, you can cook your poached eggs in advance, even the night before and just heat them in hot water for a few seconds in the morning.
You have such a lovely home and family, thank you for sharing your life with us.
God bless you 💜
Your english sourdough muffin recipe is THE BEST!!! Seriously so addictive. I make them at least 2 days a week.
Try poaching eggs in a wide frying pan. Poaching works just fine in shallow water, especially if you're not worried about them being perfectly round. My mom always did 8-10 at a time in shallow water and it goes much quicker. We LOVED eggs benedict as kids.
What a big helper! Love when the kiddos help in the kitchen 😊
So grateful for you! And congratulations on your coming arrival. God bless you and your family.
You ALWAYS inspire us!! You are truly a joy to follow! Thank you, Lisa!
Just found your channel this past week and I love it! I’ve been looking into fermenting (which is how I found your channel) and would love to see more videos about that! Still going through all your videos & I love cooking but have always been timid about baking & you make it look so simple. I want to try making biscuits now because of how amazing your bread looks in all your videos. 6 kids, homeschool and gardening and you are documenting it at the same time with great videography, whew, while having a little one strapped on. God bless you & your family. You are an inspiration 💜💜💜
Such a sweet start to my day, gives me those good 'ol days feeling. Thank you Lisa! 🤗
I love your rustic cooking videos! Greetings from Sweden!
Thanks!
So inspired and a blessing to have your videos. Blessings
I love watching your cooking videos. They inspire me to try new things.
Thank you for these delicious breakfasts. I love how they are a wide variety of recipes.
Great recipes 👌 thankyou so much for your ideas 💡 😊. I instantly feel hungry as soon as you start cooking? Xxx
Loved these types of videos so many ideas and inspiration for homesteading 💚
Your videos always make me so hungry and inspired! Thanks 😊
Nice copper pot!
I come from a fam of 12 kids and my dad is amazing at making eggs benedict! He actually puts the eggs in a muffin tin and baked them. He also brushes melted butter and chives on top with salt and pepper. It is not the same as poached, but super yummy and makes a lot for a large crowd!
Yummmm I need to try that
Time consuming love (standing at the stove making delicious tailored fixings for each love) so amazing!!!!
I can’t wait to try these recipes! I know my granddaughter will love the muffins!! Thank you for sharing Lisa! You are the best!!! 💗
Thank you Lisa I am addicted to your videos. Luv karyann
I've recently learned you can premake the poached eggs, just cook as usual but lay gently on a plate or baking sheet with paper towels. Right when everything else is ready drop them into boiling water for JUST a minute to reheat and put onto a plate to serve
Wonderful job Lisa!!! You’re such a good mama 😉👍🏻.
I love your cooking videos. Gives me so many new ideas to try. Since we r a family of 6 always cooking and baking something over here.
We're about to become a family of 6 and i love your recipes for larger families
Everything looks mouthwatering!😋😋😋
I always look forward to your meal ideas! thanks for sharing :)
Your shelf in your kitchen was so beautifully decorated with the blue and white dishes and white pitchers and soup tureen and basket 🌠🕊
The English muffins look delicious!!! Everything looked sooo delicious!!!!!
Lisa, yummy video...especially loved that blueberry strudel muffin recipe. 🍋🍋
You inspire me to cook new things. Thank you
Can’t wait to try these !
Thank you,it all looks wonderful!
Thanks Lisa, these look wonderful. My hubby would love those muffins! I also need a Danish wisk.
Another difference between frittata and quiche is that quiches usually have a pie crust 😉
It all looks so delicious!!!
Love your copper sauce pan!
so delish, I'm so hungry for breakfast after watching this video. Thanks for the eggs Benedict recipe, gotta try it.
I looooove your content!!!! You are beautiful simplicity at it’s finest!
Thank you so much!!
Your videos inspire me and condemn me at the same time lol I lwant to do things like you do them but I havent reached that yet! Thanks for your meal and life inspiration 😊❤
The muffins look so good, Lisa😋
I love her videos! ❤️
Everything looks amazing, especially the eggs Benedict!
Love these ideas! I make my hollandaise the same way and it's so delicious! I use my cast iron dutch oven to boil water for the eggs and I can fit four eggs in there at a time. It makes the process go a little faster for a bigger family. 🙂 Thanks for another great video!
I’ve been a viewer for some time....just under my personal RUclips.....can’t wait to watch the breakfast! Your channel is soooo coozzy
Yum now I want eggs Benedict! Everything looked delicious!
Great video, thank you for sharing ❤️
Yum.
My Gran does the eggs in a muffin tin in the oven when making Eggs Benedict for than just 2 people.
Lisa, Again, always love your recipes! Always look mouth watering! That egg whisker was one I haven’t seen before.
Take care and hope you are all well.
That is the multi purpose Danish Dough Whisk! I got mine from Zatoba(a company that makes sourdough supplies)
It’s a time and mess saver when mixing up sourdough and so versatile!!
I love my danish whisk!
Great ideas!
GOLLY GEE, I LOVE IT! SHARED
I need to try that muffin recipe!
Everything looks so good!! I love eggs benedict! I wish I could get food out of an iron skillet like you do! Everything I make sticks to them! Love all your recipes and videos!
“Hot pan, cold oil, foods don’t stick.” Heat your pan up, then add the fat or oil, then the food. Try that and see if it helps.
I enjoyed muffins looks delicious. Thank you
I love poached eggs! I make them the exact same way.
Trying the muffins now.
So much love in the kitchen for your family.
I love, love, love Eggs Benedict. Thanks for the recipe!
You’re welcome!
Yummy 😋
These looked as if they were cooked by a gourmet chef; especially the eggs Benedicts!
I live for this videoa
Thank you for the ideas! Will be trying some of these recipes! Question, where is that lovely copper pot from?!
I spy new copper! 😍
I definitely have to try your English muffins soon; the eggs Benedict look delicious. Could you toast the muffins in the oven to speed up the process? I’m one of nine kids and my mom almost always made toast in the oven so I use that trick a lot.
I wish I had the knowledge to try sourdough starter, everything looks delicious Lisa😊 I will be trying the frittata ♥️
I started one after watching her videos - it isn't as complicated as it seems like it would be. 🎉 Give it a try! 👍
@@annakopper3043 I will!! Thanks for the encouragement 🤗
Lisa has an Instagram as well, with a highlight there on sourdough starter/helpful information that you can read whenever you have a question!
Get the instant pot double set egg poacher....makes 14! Have you ever used the butter flavored coconut oil? Yummy
I'm kind of jealous that you can get away with not using muffin liners. Mine stick every single time, even if I use non stick spray! It's weird. Also, I definitely want to try that muffin recipe. It looks delicious! 😍
Try silicone liners
same here! I actually had to throw mine away :/ and that's because I added SO much olive oil. Not sure why lol, I ended up getting the silicone one!
Mine do this as well so frustrating, maybe the kind of pan?
Poached eggs can be made ahead of time. Place them in iced water and reheat in simmering water, just before serving. Go to Martha Stewart or Julia Child, also America's Test Kitchen did a really job on a recent episode. You should be eating with your family.
I've watched your channel for probably two years and just figured out that at the end you are talking about the topics you cover, not that you post "on" three other channels.
Tg I found you a while ago bc whenever I’m in a food rut I’m like Lisa will have the answer 🤣 Did all your kids eat the frittata? I know my small kids would love the first two, and maybe they’ll surprise me if I try the frittata
I just made English muffins for the first time with my newly started sourdough. So unbelievably good!!!!! Have you had any problems with using einkorn for the entire recipe? (My starter is einkorn.)
Also, I would love to hear clean up tricks like for those bowls with batter sticking on the edges!
I love the whisk you used here. Where did you get it from? It is so unique
It’s called a Danish dough hook! I bought one from Amazon. 😊
There are several egg recipes that make no sense for a group, crowd and Eggs Benedict is one of those because it takes forever for the cook to be able to eat and few are really eating at the same time. It all looked delicious. Do you use other types of breads ever: bought or made?
❤️❤️❤️💕
Njammieee
Is your henley from aerie? Its so cute!
😫I wish my kids were open minded and try all these different foods w veggies
What can I use instead of sour dough in your recipes?! I don't know anything about sour dough and would still like to make some of the recipes you post! Can I use just regular flour to make your english muffins for example?
WHat kind of flour did you ue to make these english muffins in the video?
Hi Lisa... YOUR LOOKING BEAUTIFUL AS ALWAYS!!!! All those recipes look so good especially you’re blue berry muffins 😋..you’re cooking videos are the best!! Thanks 😊
Thank you so much!!
which butter do you use? I have always avoided butter thinking its very unhealthy. x
Real fritata woud be if you just mix those eggs with vegetable, on the stove. Dont put them in oven...and stop cooking it when the eggs are still creamy...and when its over, on the plate...put some parmegiano chees👌👌
Do you have a special diet you follow, or just balanced?
No special diet. Try to make our meals as balanced as i can
I'm curious, what is the mixing tool you are using? It's not quite a spoon
It’s called a dough hook
Are you worried about the raw egg in the sauce? Hollandaise typically requires cooking it over the stove while adding the butter.
This is how they made it in a restaurant that I worked in. The hot hot butter cooks the egg as it blends! 😀
How do you make or get starter?
www.farmhouseonboone.com/make-sourdough-starter-scratch here's how you make it!
I need to know how nothing sticks to your pans!?
Secret is preheating very well!
I like sooo much your video my dear..can you tell me what is your country. ..you are so Amazon. .thanks...
Do you only eat sourdough?
not only sourdough.. but mostly ;) we prefer it + it's easier for your body to digest anyway
sorry, but that's not hollandaise sauce, it should be thick and creamy
Everything looks Delicious
