@followthewhiterabbit884 it is absolutely worth it. Don't be put off by the furry asthetic. It tells a very gripping and emotional story filled with mystery. Plus, the narrator single handedly elevates the entire game.

Freya's EN and JP voice actor here!!! 🌼 Thank you so much for the really thoughtful video on LGTS 💚💚💚 The whole team put a lot of love into it, so we're happy when the game can be discovered and talked about by more people!
:-) ah so THAT'S the reason the German words acutally make sense and are correct :-D i was alreay "wait... japan style game with German words and ...they are not just nonsense!?"
Little goody two shoes is an absolutely underrated game that was buried by the lack of marketing from the publisher. The main cast are all super talented singers and bilingual, please look them up from the credits!
That coupled with the absolutely stacked year 2023 was. Can’t help but feel if it was released sometime this year it woulda really hit since indies have been the talk of the town so far. Balatro, Crow Country, Animal Well, Lorelei & the Laser Eyes, 1000xResist, Anger Foot, Hades II, AND so many more. But yeah damn shame.
While in a normal year it probably would have been considered fairly covered/marketed 2023 was just an insane year for games. I think this hit the exact niche of the Internet I'm in because I saw it advertised pretty often💖
Probably also because the game is deceptively deep, looking like a Harvest Moon-esque game rather than a story-driven experience. The general market tend to go for easily digestible games rather than experiences with deeper meanings and room to think.
I’m the EN and JPN voice actress for Rozenmarine and Muffy in LGTS as well as for the Protagonist and Lisette in PM and I just have to say that being a part of the team and being able to watch a video like this that deep dives into both games and understands them in such a meaningful and genuine way truly warms my heart! The response that both games have gotten by the people that play them and the lovely community it has crafted makes it feel as if art for the sake of art is truly worth creating when the response is realised in such a way as this video was. The attention and care taken to convey the themes and your own perspective of the games and all of its moving parts is something that makes this kind of job really worth doing. Thank you so much for your video, it was truly a delight to watch! 💜
I hope Bash sees this so you guys can talk, but it's so exciting when the people who critique the art get to hear from someone involved In that art, and the reverse is also cool. I'm definitely looking into this game now but kbash always makes the artsy games look so much fun
Hello and i would like to say, i am so glad that you are here and i applaud your great performance. It must feel very heartwarming and beautiful seeing the work of you and your great team being explained in depth but also appreciated for it's greatness. I very much appreciate all the work that has been gone in these games from the Artwork, music, game mechanics and voice acting etc. I plan on playing both games in depth and enjoying them well. i truly wish you all the best and keep up the great work. 👍✨
Finally, someone is talking about this masterpiece! The 90s anime aesthetic really sells the horror. The game never felt scary, but the animation is certainly what qualifies the game into the horror genre. Has anyone noticed that horror anime today just doesn't feel right appearance wise in contrast to the gritty cell shading?
I had similar thoughts as well actually. The 90s anime horror artstyle is one of my favorite anime artstyles of all time and really sells the aesthetic, horror and expressive nature. It fits perfectly with the game, it's themes and the story. The 90s anime Artstyle with it's sharpness, detail, expressiveness and gritty nature is what made me love 90s anime so much regardless of genre but mostly Action and horror based stories.
This is my favorite kind of KBash video, where he shows off something I've never heard of and then I have to pause the video to play two entire video games before coming back to it
While the devs have stated that there isn't a canon ending to Little Goody Two Shoes, there is a DEFINITIVE ending that leads to the events of Pocket Mirror. One of Pocket Mirror's wax cylinders will mention a girl from Elise's past, her love Rozenmarine. Rozenmarine kept speaking about her fate, as she KNEW and was GROOMED to be sacrificed by Elise eventually by her little goat companion, WHO IS THE STRANGE BOY IN DISGUISE. The ending of that path in the game shows you that after her sacrifice, after giving birth to twins when she only intended on having one (because he asked for her SECOND born, not her first), she returns to her hometown. She goes to Lebkuchen, who GIVES HER THE POCKET MIRROR in order to protect her daughter from the strange boy.
that doesn't make anysense, if that an accomodation for the newcomers, if that it's like the adventure time, Moira ending/Pocket Mirror dawn ending is the og timeline, while the other endings are what ifs, specially coming from a game that was first sold as a prequel.
@@kellyscorner1319 more like only one ending has a continuation and the rest do not (or could in the future, if the creators decide to continue) It’s kinda like how the OG corpse party had a ton of endings and a bunch of fangames specifically following only certain endings. In this way, they created multiple different diverging paths. If the creators intended for one ending to lead into the previous game, but specifically stated all endings are “canon”, then it means they want ppl to not feel forced into one ending. They made multiple endings for a reason and want to explore different ideas. It also helps since some ppl (like me) dislike Pocket Mirror’s story.
@@kellyscorner1319 also, ppl have stated that the ending is a bad ending. So I guess they want to make it so that players can get a good ending if they try, with the bad ending resulting in another game cuz the other endings would be better and not result in one. It’s funny I made the corpse party comparison since the fangames typically follow the bad endings
This Game and "The Liar Princess And The Blind Prince" are my top two games that release but nobody talks about despite being absolute gems, Yes it is my favorite genre of games.
It's a doll that she hits back and forth with the kids. The game is called "Kiss the rat!" because you get hit by the rat plush. Though the kids literally cannot lose. The best you can do is survive until the timer runs out. Those brats cheat.
Amazing video. The only mistake I noticed was the bargain Elise made. She negotiated with Ozzy that she would give her second born child as she basically said what makes you think I’ll even have one. So she tried to get around the rule by only one child. She sealed her daughter’s fate as she birthed twins.
Guess that's why you don't deal with the devil; even if you're clever and try to exploit a loophole, the devil will probably just supernaturally alter things to rope you into paying up anyway.
@@slippyfruit8538genius and funny!! ꉂꉂ◟(˃᷄ꇴ˂᷅๑)༡ i'll probably cite the entire racial slurs whenever i see ghosts in games i've never said slurs like these before, but i'll try my best!

Im glad ppl are finally talking about how good this little series is. The Moira storyline (Lgts Rozenmarine Bad ending + Pocket Mirror + Faint MV) is such a good tragedy it deserves more discussion
@@tomori0822 it's a theater released about henri when he made the contract with the strange boy. U can just look for it by searching up Faint Pocket Mirror theater or something of sort
Tiny correction, Lebkuchen doesn't mean cookies in English, it's the German word for Gingerbread specifically, which we eat during Christmastime in Germany and Austria. Cookies would be Kekse (Keks in singular) or Plätzchen (both multiple and singular).
actually! elise also doesn't win in the lebkuchen ending, see in that ending its implied golden girls cannot change what they look like, they are his servants, what elise sees is a hallucination of lebkuchen at her deathbed.
Yeah it's definitely a delusion. Lebkuchen, in contrast to Freya, understands exactly what is happening when Elise sacrifices her, and swears never to forgive her. If anything, I would expect that what we're seeing here is Leb leading Elise to her final punishment on Ozzy's orders.
I'm a small artist and I really appreciate your speech about small AAA artists and I relate to the whole "strive for new heights." I've had so many insults about my art and I've always wanted to give up, but I've been practicing because I've received respect and compliments from people that mean a lot to me. I'm nowhere near professional, nor can I do commissions due to mental illnesses, but it is something I enjoy doing
Another RPGMaker horror game that is rarely ever mentioned nowadays is Dreaming Mary. Very short game but the symbolism is insane, more like an art piece than an actual game. It also might have the best main theme in any RPGMaker horror game. Misao, Eversion, Purgatory, The Gray Garden, Alice Mare, and many others are also rarely brought into the conversation. Eversion especially, that one’s always been super underrated since its inception. A more goofy horror game almost no one talks about is what I call the Kio duology (Kio’s Adventure and Otaku’s Adventure)
its also kind of insane how "The Strange Man" series of games immediately went under the radar of popularity after the Crooked Man, i swear i only JUST found out theres multiple sequels to this game
THANKS DUDEE FOR SUGGESTING THOSE RPGMAKER GAMES!!! the way you mentioned them or their names sounds so unique too, feels like the game that they made here are actually creative!!! i kinda wanna give a small warning with Purgatory and Purgatory 2 though...
I want to say something. This video reached a place in my mind and heart that I thought was dead. I had a story I put more than 15 years into, and kept the skeleton of its original form in the back closet of my mind for so long that I just stopped believing in creativity. The mainstream platforms most audiences subscribe to are over saturated with recycled material that my mind has felt stagnant. It’s hard to feel excited or even surprised anymore. This though…this story, this attempt to inspire and cultivate…I can feel the depth of their dreams to reach out and have their audience dive into their work to not just understand and enjoy what they’ve created, but to nurture that creativity within themselves. To those who conceived and those who supported…thank you. I am thankful to have this feeling again.
Btw, there is a German Fairytail called : FRAU HOLLE Where two poor girls fall down a well into a new world Girl one gets rewarded with a dress of gold and riches from doing all of Frau Holles chores and being kind Girl two gets FUCKED and coverd in Tar because she was lazy and a brat full of envy over girl 1's new riches The conclusion is be humble, kind and work hard to get a great reward AND i feel the game sure took some inspiration from that lol
Finally some recognition for LGTS. It's so good! I actually wrote an essay on this game and got a 19/20 grade because I got to interview one of the founders of AstralShift.
I always love seeing Pocket Mirror get recognition. I would say that another good horror game that nobody ever talks about is END ROLL, a "regretful" adventure RPG. I won't spoil anything for those who wish to check it out for themselves, but as someone who has 100%ed the game, it has already been 5 years since I finished it and the totality and gravity of Russell's situation still sticks in my mind to this day. It's definitely worth checking out.
i've only played little goody two shoes, but what a banger. the soundtrack alone is worth the price of entry. i do find myself wishing it was fully voiced because what the little voice work provided is really excellent
finally someone covered this game. someone who had understood elise's life in a way because dear lord it's very relatable in a way because it sucked hard. my misery growing up. my favorite ending is the realization ending it's genuinely chilling when i found it.
I was about to comment “this game reminds me of the RPG maker horror game Pocket Mirror” and then I learned that they were made by the same people. Suddenly things make a whole lot more sense.
RUclips just randomly recommended this to me. Im only ten minutes in and have to pause because your edits/writing constantly flashbangs my mind. It been a while but a bro saying "serving c*nt on a budget" legitimately got a good laugh. Thank you.
Alucard fought his father during the time of Trevor Belmont in Castlevania 3, 300 years before the events of SotN, he's been in the legacy for nearly as long as the Belmonts.
Im the EN voice actor for dracula in Castlevania Symphony of the Night. Thank you for showcasing my work on your wonderful video! We had a blast recording for the game, and it actually took me personally 166 takes to get that line right! Haha. It aint no easy grab. They got T! Thanks again!
I just finished the game, little goody two shoes. And i always though that elise's experience reminded me so much of daniel dankovski of pathalogic as they're both outsider trying to keep their head above water. With the exveption that elise is a "simple" maid of all work while danile is a doctor from the capital and elise had a choice to walk away from her situation while danile is stuck with the responsibility he has as a doctor
I love this video. This style of video and this style of game. I don't have the time nowadays to enjoy these games myself anymore, so a video essay like this just makes me happy. Two things I'd like to add/point out. Lebkuchen's name doesn't accurately translate into "Cookie". Lebkuchen is a specific type of sweet spice cake that is baked to have a chewy texture and consistency, usually with a glossy surface. It's most known nowadays as a Christmas bakingware or sold as hearts on carnival and festival occasions. It's a very distinct form of food and probably has a deeper meaning in this game. The other is Saint Walburga, and his literal Namesday 'Walpurgisnacht", a night with special significance in germanistic folklore, nowadays more thought to be connected with witches and covens, when rituals are held and the connection to the unnatural is deepened. Outside of said coven, people thought that those were the days when the world is closest to the devil. In reality, this was very likely a christian attempt at ruining a festival for Saint Walburga, because the celebration in itself was from before Christianity ruled in these parts. It was quite literally part of Saint Walburga's namesday, the 1st of May. Even today, the "Tanz in den Mai" remains a tradition here in germany. Considering the state of superstition against a witch, the "Witching hour", the unnatural occurances, and the time of year the game seems to take part in, this seems to be significant
Man kbash is incredible at making me want to get a game I have never heard of before. I respect his spoiler warnings and play the games myself and it feels so rewarding.
I honestly thought the silhouettes for the thumbnail were reminiscent of the way ZUN prints the patterned silhouettes on the game discs for Touhou games and just wanted to say that it's probably one of the more memorable thumbnails I've seen yet on the channel. (video was great too btw I just wanted to point that out)
IM SO HAPPY THAT LITTLE GOODY TWO SHOES IS GETTING MORE POPULAR, IVE BEEN PLAYING SINCE A FEW DAYS AFTER ITS RELEASE ON SWITCH AND ITS LITERALLY MY FAV GAM :333
Pocket Mirror was my childhood. I loved the game, soundtrack, and story. I was so happy when the remastered version came out and when LGTS was announced. I already played both, and I loved them. I'm glad more people talk about these games. Astral Shift deserves more love for the masterpieces they put out.
I haven’t been able to play this game myself but as soon as it came out I was watching anyone I could play through it. Pocket Mirror already holds a special place in my heart and Little Goody Two Shoes sits right next to it. Weirdly enough one of my favourite details in the game (as silly as this may sound) are the chore mini-games and their nightmare counterparts. As if the chore minigames aren’t already quite charming in their presentation. I don’t know what it is about it, but the contrast is just so neat to me and was quite unexpected. Even little things to unsettle you, even if only briefly, like the fact that the nightmare mini-games only give you the controls and no title or cheery little voice to read it. How they original games are inverted in the nightmare ones, the fact the there’s a unique version of the bgm and the intro jingle for both. I just love little stuff like that. I’m glad they got a mention here. Also thankful that we have a video talking about this game, maybe more people will check it out now.
Pocket mirror is my favorite game and has been since I was 17 and when LGTS came out when I was 24 I was so elated and am even more happy these games are getting recognition
Your parting comments on creation and creatives really hits home as to why I constantly rewatch your videos for your insights. Thank you for your thoughts, they really help one of your viewers out.
Oh my god… This video stayed in my “watch later” playlist for like 3 moths and I so freaking regret it Thanks a lot for the vid and introducing these amazing games to me
Idk if that's brought up later on, but aside from being the central figure of a Grimm's fairy tale, Frau Holle (or Holda) is also a fairy queen in old German lore. She is closely tied to wells and spinning wheels symbolically, as well as to snow - there was a belief that snow was the down feathers of her bedding, floating down from her home when the bedding was shaken out. According to legend, she traversed Germany twice yearly. Girls would put as much wool as possible on their spindles before the first journey. By night, Frau Holle would step into the chambers and bless the household, bestowing a good year for each hair of wool on the spindle. By the time she returned on her journey back, all wool needed to be spun. Because she would step into the chambers again, check the work, and this time curse the household with a bad year to come for each hair of wool left on the spindle. I haven't found any lore about people trying to cheat that system, which doesn't surprise me considering that she was known to be Fair Folk and basically a spirit of hard and honest work. The fairy tale dedicated to her shows that very clearly haha! On another note, Walpurga is an interesting choice for a saint. Because Germany sees Walpurgisnacht and the bacchanalia of witches! (Yes, if you're wondering, that real life festivity is what PMMM Witch Walpurgisnacht is named after). I also noticed some details in passing here, like the horse being named Apfel (aka apple) which is pretty cute considering both the relevance of apples in fairy tales (including that of Frau Holle) and the fact that we call horse poop horse apples in Germany.
Sorry to bother you, but do you have a source for the other stuff about Frau Holle (I can read a little German, and am fluent in Dutch and English if that helps)? It sounds really neat and plausible but people sometimes spread around European 'lore' that turns out to have very dubious or modern origins so I like to ask for sources to see for myself, I hope you understand.
@@isawp5199 @isawp5199 Oh yeah, no problem! Honestly that's really sensible of you! The info about Frau Holle's travels is from "Die schönsten Sagen der Brüder Grimm" by the brothers Grimm, the edition edited by Ruth Krenn. The info about Frau Holle as fairy queen is from "Die Welt der Elfen und Feen" by Ditte and Giovanni Bandini. To be fair, that latter one is basically a secondary source so it may well be off a little. However, the information in it is very congruent with her behavior and symbolism in the "Sagen der Brüder Grimm". I hope this helps!
@@isawp5199 For some reason, my first reply doesn't seem to show up. My source for Frau Holle's Journey through Germany is "Die schönsten Sagen der Brüder Grimm" by the brothers Grimm!
between my admittedly short attention span and inability to fail in a game without raging, mechanically i think this game would be a nightmare for me. but aesthetically and narratively it's everything i've ever wanted a game to be. give me the cozy, relaxed queer romance in a small traditional town itching to burn something different. give me my life in a pretty video game letsFUCKINGOOOOO
That's pretty much why I had to put it down too. I don't do well mechanically in games like this because the moment I fail so do my nerves snap, but I love the story of Pocket Mirror and this one.
i love your sense of humor! usually long essay videos about obscure video games dont have people looking weirdly at me while i try to control my facial expressions in the middle of the street as if i were playing whos lila
See, THIS I why i love youtubers like you! Not only did I get an hour-long infodump on these gorgeous, symbolism-filled, deeper-than-the-Mariana-Trench, BOMB ass games(/vpos), BUT I, as an artist and a dreamer, got a refreshed appreciation for all the love and work that my fellow artists of all makes, breaks, and levels put into what they do. And on TOP of that, I got a refreshed hope that somehow, someday, I might be able to do the same without feeling guilty for one reason or another. Seriously, and with everything my tiny art-heart can muster, thank you.
Thank you for talking about this game omg!!! Rpg maker horror games are so niche and underrated. Just waiting for my actual favorite series Hello Charlotte, that has actually changed my life to be discussed please please please please play Hello Charlotte
I am 13 minutes into this video and you have already sold me on both of the games discussed. Like, completely. I want to watch the rest of the video but also I don't want the surprise ruined argh.
Little Goody Two Shoes was a great experience, I rarely replay games but I farmed some endings to just look at the beautiful graphics and listen to the music.
24:56 Just have to throw out here that Lebkuchen is NOT cookies!! It's a very specific type of.. bread? cake? I don't even know what kind of category to be fair, but it has a chewy to soft texture and is full of spices that make it taste like.. well, Christmas. Lebkuchen has a very very long tradition but it isn't, never was and never will be cookies! As a German I just had to say this, sorry lol
@@anapple6912 I guess it's comparable to gingerbread, but a bit softer? The type of dough is the biggest difference and the texture. Idk, you would never call a bread a type of cookie, would you? Or a cookie a bread. It's just different, even if there are similarities.
I like how more and more people are talking about this hidden gem and your editing and commentary is hilarious, I love it alot and will continue to stick around for it!
All I needed was that thumbnail to know the topic of the video. Immediate click. I LOVE this little game series, and I'm so happy to see an in depth video on it. I'm sure there's more videos on it, but seeing it randomly pop up after months of not looking for it is such a pleasant surprise. I hope to see this game become more and more popular as it gets more representation and recognition. There's clearly so much love put into this, and I want more people to be able to experience that love.
funnily enough one of my first thoughts when LGTS came out was "why am i getting blacksouls vibes from this" haha. the fairytale vibe and elise's alice-style outfit activated my neurons i guess i'm a huge fan of both games/series...es and it makes me happy seeing blacksouls get more popular among RPG horror fans. it's a weird experience but in a really enjoyable way, with genuinely well written characters. forget alice, i'm going to dorothy
This is a small thing I'd like to add but I remember asking myself during my playthrough "Does Elise wear that apron all the time because it makes her feel like she's wearing a dress?" and I think someone else in the game also comments on it. When I saw the good endings, I actually gasped and said out loud "Oh my god! She takes off the apron!!" because it goes in tandem with basically everything you say about what the good endings entail. I'm not sure if that was the purpose of the apron, but it does certainly feel like my suspicions about the apron were acknowledged in that way. Thank you for this analysis, it really puts to words what I was thinking about during my playthrough. This game is genuinely up there as one of my favorites for how intentional and potent it is with its themes and aesthetics.
I am so happy someone actually looked into little goody two shoes. I fully completed both pocket mirror and LGTS and both games are criminally underrated. Ever since pocket mirror first came out, i have been in love with AstralShift and their lovely work

Shout out to the Slime plushie staring _directly into the camera with its soulless gaze_ at around 5:30 Really brings the whole set together with the theme of the video
Watched the first half of the video like 3 days ago, bought the game, then got 6 endings and now I'm back! What an insanely good game and thank you for getting me into it!
Haven’t even finished the video, but thank god someone is talking about this game. I brought it as soon as it came out and played through every ending as soon as I could. It’s gorgeous and one of my favourite games, and I wish it was more popular.
One not so fun thing about this game is that it’s very easy to soft lock yourself. I spent so much time chasing after the clues for Walpurga that I needed grape juice for my sanity, which was near low constantly. I kept the same 1 save file so I didn’t have a different one to turn back to, and it got so bad that eventually I was out of funds and food, and if I worked I would immediately die from up hunger before I ate. In my pursuit of insanity I literally worked myself to death and had to start a new game 😭😭😭
This was more than just a welcome distraction from the bad things that have happened lately, seeing an artistic vision I believed in many years ago when Pocket Mirror was in development get to evolve this beautifully gives me hope that artists can still find a way to create amazing works despite the numerous obstacles. It may take time, multiple tries, and tedious hard work to survive in the meantime, but richness and beauty can be found and celebrated even in dire circumstances and I think that's awesome.
im bailing out at 22:46 so i can go play this one fresh. This looks so amazing and well made. Like it was a passion project instead of just being a product to sell. but ill be back afterwards to finish the video KB. thanks for the rec.
One thing i love about games with good and bad endings is when they make the good ending or at least the better ending require more effort I played through Megadimension Neptunia and got the, not bad ending, it was more of a normal ending. Not bad, but not good either. The day was saved, but someone you grew to like as a character was gone. Knowing i could get a happier, better ending where that character can atop the villain and live made me want to play the game again. I had a reason to play again. That makes me look back and say "That was worth my time"
man finally people are more talking about these 2 games. when i first saw little goody two shoes i thought the pixelart was so beautiful and fairy tale-like that i refused to believe its a real game at first
I wanted to play this game so badly ever since I first saw the trailer. I hadn’t heard of the previous game before unfortunately, but the trailer was so captivating to me. I’m so glad it’s getting the attention it deserves.
It’s funny, I was listening to the rest of this while driving, and the reading of the patrons got a chuckle out of me, but it’s also so nice that you put so much care towards the people who support you. And thank you for introducing more people to this game.

It must feel very heartwarming and beautiful seeing the work of you and your great team being explained in depth but also appreciated for it's greatness. PTSD of Elise shouting ROZENMARINE just for you to say Elise in the sweetest voice imaginable
I liked Mieruko-Chan horror, and not that much more honestly, I think anime horror movies are better?
Well, as a scaredy-cat, this game made me really scared sometimes though 😅
I had similar thoughts as well actually. The 90s anime horror artstyle is one of my favorite anime artstyles of all time and really sells the aesthetic, horror and expressive nature. It fits perfectly with the game, it's themes and the story. The 90s anime Artstyle with it's sharpness, detail, expressiveness and gritty nature is what made me love 90s anime so much regardless of genre but mostly Action and horror based stories.
Yes it is more on how something presents itself that is qualified to be that genre rather than relying on feels to qualify it on said genre.
This is my favorite kind of KBash video, where he shows off something I've never heard of and then I have to pause the video to play two entire video games before coming back to it
same, I stop it at 14:20 XD
Same expect I haven't played pocket mirror and want to 100% Little goody two shoes (I still have 8 endings and half of the achievements to do...)
WTF FLOCKE IS OZZY IN DISGUISE ???? How come I didn't notice this where is this revealed?
@@bastbatMy dude. Ozzy literally comes out of flocke ass. When he takes away a girl you hear goat
@@kellyscorner1319 more like only one ending has a continuation and the rest do not (or could in the future, if the creators decide to continue)
It’s kinda like how the OG corpse party had a ton of endings and a bunch of fangames specifically following only certain endings.

‘Whatever she can to keep herself afloat, picking apples, babysitting’ (shows clip of absolutely punting something a good couple metres)

A more goofy horror game almost no one talks about is what I call the Kio duology (Kio’s Adventure and Otaku’s Adventure)
yo when the sequel for dreaming mary coming out tho fr ⁉️⁉️
OMG I ADORE ALICE MARE- genuinely such a wonderful gem
Yoo Eversion is so cool! I love these slightly obscure games
its also kind of insane how "The Strange Man" series of games immediately went under the radar of popularity after the Crooked Man, i swear i only JUST found out theres multiple sequels to this game
I hope your story can make it out there one day
Btw, there is a German Fairytail called : FRAU HOLLE

Girl one gets rewarded with a dress of gold and riches from doing all of Frau Holles chores and being kind
Girl two gets FUCKED and coverd in Tar because she was lazy and a brat full of envy over girl 1's new riches
The conclusion is be humble, kind and work hard to get a great reward

Deadass what I was thinking “awwe how is this a horror game- oh damn.”
My beloved Pocket Mirror, I've playing it for about a decade now, and LGTS is supremely lovely.
Glad to see someone else who remembered Walpurgisnacht, although I laughed a little at myself for only truly making that connection as of this video.
(video was great too btw I just wanted to point that out)
AstralShift (the devs of LGTS) are huge Touhou fans with their previous game Pocket Mirror actually referencing U.N. Owen Was Her? at one point
The actual Dracula quote is, "What is a man? A miserable pile of RATS!!!"
I love how eloquent you are, how quick you can switch it up to blunt language, and go right back to eloquence. It’s so entertaining!

As a German I just had to say this, sorry lol
but then what differentiates them? because cookies can also be chewy in the inside, is it kinda like a gingerbread?
@@anapple6912 I guess it's comparable to gingerbread, but a bit softer? The type of dough is the biggest difference and the texture. Idk, you would never call a bread a type of cookie, would you? Or a cookie a bread. It's just different, even if there are similarities.

One not so fun thing about this game is that it’s very easy to soft lock yourself.

Knowing i could get a happier, better ending where that character can atop the villain and live made me want to play the game again.
I had a reason to play again.
That makes me look back and say "That was worth my time"
I'm so blown away by the art
man finally people are more talking about these 2 games. when i first saw little goody two shoes i thought the pixelart was so beautiful and fairy tale-like that i refused to believe its a real game at first
Really enjoyed Little Goody Two Shoes, cool to see it getting some appreciation!
I've always loved Pocket Mirror sm. So I was very happy when LGTS finally came out and then also seeing it getting some actual recognition!!
Not a RPGMaker but illusion carnival deserves recognition.
Barely any content on it but its the most beautiful and aesthetically pleasing horror game
I wanted to play this game so badly ever since I first saw the trailer. I hadn’t heard of the previous game before unfortunately, but the trailer was so captivating to me. I’m so glad it’s getting the attention it deserves.
I had been hearing LGTS music in your videos for a little while and was hoping for this video! Also: Umineko Mentioned
It’s funny, I was listening to the rest of this while driving, and the reading of the patrons got a chuckle out of me, but it’s also so nice that you put so much care towards the people who support you. And thank you for introducing more people to this game.
The original pocket mirror came out when I was 8 or 9, I remember watching my older sister play it LOL
So yeah I’m from Austria and i just wanted to confirm this game depicts my country perfectly.
