Oh my goodness! Thank you so much! I spent like an hour trying to fix my belt drift and was just about to give up until I watched this video. Wish I just looked it up before. Solved in like 30 seconds.
This info wasn't even in my manual, and I didn't have high hopes when I found your video. But I did what you said and wow--- THIS WORKED PERFECTLY!!! It's perfectly centered now! Thank you.
SO helpful, thank you. Mine came with belt drift right out of the box and I had no idea what to do. The booklet for it said it had diagram for it but it didn't so this really helped out.
To anyone having issues with the belt drifting too often: sometimes, especially on the more budget treadmills, there can be an issue with the INNER roller not being aligned correctly. You can see this by comparing clearance between both front and rear sides of the belt. If the inner roller is skewed, then the whole belt is gonna be misaligned, and the centering of the belt in it's rear roller will soon be reversed. I had this issue in my treadmill. After adjusting the inner roller I no longer need to correct the drift every 2 days. You can find guides on how to do that on RUclips.
Do you think your rule of not returning to the original tightness applies to the initial correction of a new treadmill that is off center and you have no idea what effect your own gait will have on the drift, since you haven't used it yet?
I see you've already got the answer, but just in case someone else reads this: the side that you want to tighten is the side the belt is already too close to. It's counter-intuitive, but think of it like this: by tightening the too-close side, you're pulling the bar closer on that side creating a slope for the belt to "fall down towards" the other side.
It's to far. It was to far on one side and I thought i fixed it but then I turned it to much and now it's to far on the otherside and I can't get it to fix
Your explanation was much better than the manufacturer. Much appreciated 👏🏽

Fantastic explanation man, thank you so much. Now I know how AND why. Great stuff!
I just got a new treadmill and wasn’t sure what to do with the issue of one side being too far to the left. Your advice fixed the issue, thank you!

Very helpful because I thought I had to do something on the other side. Thank you!

Thank you! May your pillow always be cold. 🎉
THANK YOU MY GOD
It worked!!? Thanks so much!
So helpful!! Thank you
This is really informative! I tried doing this but both bolts are already so tight they are not budging. But it’s still shifting to the left 😢
@@aksaa220 can you try loosening the other side then? It's preferred to tighten the close side, but if it's too tight try loosening the gap side
@@ocdevel I’ll try that
I've tried working on mine in this way but mine continues to drift every time I walk on it
Thank you!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
So if the belt on the side where it's over lapping the rolling part of it that's the side you tighten ?
@@city0942 yeah. Tighten the crowded side
@lefnire tha k you!!
Hi there! Thank you so much for this video! How do I know which side is too tight?
Whoops - watched the video for longer and my question was answered :)
This video was incredibly helpful!!! I also checked out your other lubrication video. Thank you!!!

I get it centered then when walk on it it still drifts to the right.
Adjust it more, and loosen the other side
