- I do show where to check the oil for the torque converter and more, as a viewer asked in the comments where to check this.
Before I knew it myself I searched for days on forums before I found an explanation.
Only red oil if not modified, a extension on the plug or level by the dipstick for common back end oil modification and use universal oil
back then..they often drilled a hole so the gear and konverder took the same oil...it vas to cool the converder better,,and to get a bigger oil volume to work vith...i have cut the hyd line looking line and replaced it vith a clear fuel line..there is press fitings to make it nice..but i have just pressed the line on the old "nippels"
Hi, I have a M50B MK2 1972 in the UK. Thanks for the very good vid. I have exactly the same indications as you had regarding the colour, quantity and viscosity of the torque converter oil. Also all my other oil levels were nominal. Did you come up with any solution, other than the obvious of draining and replacing the TC oil? Thanks again for the vid!
Great video, i just bought a Ford 655c, and there's a radiator that has a slight leak and the same red color oil seeps out, i thought it was hydraulic oil as there's a tank above it marked as hydraulic oil, i need to have a look at this but this video helped.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge, that's help.
Hello, I have such a problem with this machine that if I don't pump the oil, it won't reach the dipstick
