Ive seen tutorials on the first 10 steps you did in this video but for them it took a lot of minutes for me not to understand how to solve my question and you did it in under 1 minute. I'm unsubscribeing to all the other channels for inskape, yours is the easiest to understand and actually learn so easily.
Any ideas for how to do this with objects that have a more complex shape? Say, a spiral? Any way to make a gradient (or something gradient-like) to follow the trajectory of the spiral and create shading along the entire length of the spiral? Any clean-looking workarounds?
Brilliant RUclips channel I've only just found you , I've heard of inscape a couple of years ago but never got round to using it. now I have a lot more time on my hands and a new computer I purchase about eight months ago and CNC machine, 3d printer etc I feel it now the time to start learning it . but i have one question question. Will this software work with Apple M1 computers ??? I did have a look on the website but could not find a clear answer as at least several . But none of them actually highlighted " M1 " Can you please advise me .. Thank you .
Nick, is there an option in Inkscape that feathers the edges? Basically a gradient that goes from color to transparency, but it follows the border of the shape?
when exporting i keep running into image quality issues after adding effects like this and distort. looks good before exporting but it changes the shading & ruggedness after exporting. any solutions to this?
A lot of tutorials use "game changer" to sell themselves, but yours really are game changers!
Thank you Nick....excellent as always.

I have no idea 💡 that Inkscape create noises effect. Thanks
Miss seeing you use Linux! Great video as always!
I have 1.3.2. inkascape and I can't do it. I have a lot errors. Which Inkscape is working properly?
FR - pour les francophones qui ne trouvent pas cela se trouve par: filtres > superpositions > fond turbulent.
Merci beaucoup, j'ai galéré !
Great ❤, what the version of Inkscape?
I guess the latest, why?
This is version 1.3 but it’s in older versions too

Make sure display mode is not set to 'no filters' - I just had some trouble figuring out why the noise filter was having no effect.
Cant make the gradient. every time I add the stop on the gradient path its switches to a different kind of gradient.

👍👍
Nice tutorial, can you do a tutorial using techniques like this to make scrolls in vector designs for engraving...
