- If you have a Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Fiat, or Jeep and you're AC isn't recirculating, it's usually because your humidity sensor isn't working properly. Your air conditioning recirculating button will be blinking or flashing. The part number is 55111389AF and its very easy to replace. it's usually priced between $20 and $80.
Thanks so much! Couldn't find a clear video on how to do this. I appreciate it.
Thank you for your video. I fixed mine as well. I saved money and the part is life time warranty.
Thank you for posting this video. I thought it was going to cost me an arm and a leg to fix this problem. My 2012 300 air circulation light stays on now.👍🤙
Your a legend had new front windscreen fitted now i know
Thank you so, so much. I thought it might be more complicated. God Bless you and have a great life!
Does the car need to be on when replacing it ?
You can leave the car off
Thanks
Ordered one on Amazon.
Wish me Luck
Best of luck!
Is there a fuse for this. I replaced mine and the ac worked for a few weeks then went out again. I replaced it again but there’s no change

Thank you!!
Does this also cause the ac to slow down and speed up constantly too? The recirculation butt9n is doing the same thing
Think this should work for my situation car ac works fine wen raining heavily (blows cold ac) but wen it’s sunny the recirculating button starts blinking again so it must be the sensor gonna give it a try and replace it
I fix ir but I how do I stick it back cuz the whole thing came off and it won’t stick back
Thanks ❤
The light wil also blink if you have the defogger/ defrost on.
Can this part be the same for a 2012 Chrysler 300?
Yes!
So I just replace my sensor and it is still doing the same thing. Any other idea?
I have a 2011 300 limited. The car got totaled by someone T-boning me in the highway somehow. so my whole drivers side was messed up. after putting the car back together like lego pieces, I fixed a leak I had and added freon to it. its now blowing cool air, but the circulation doesn't work. Before I perform this option, I have a question. could the reason be because my drivers door has a little bent corner? I'm not exactly sure how it senses it, but from some research, im gonna assume recirculation doesn't work due to sensing outside air coming in (like an open door or cracked window).
I don’t think the issue with your door will be a factor. Thanks watching
I got the same 300 I’m having similar problems with mine someone told me to check air filter under the hood up by the passenger side firewall I’m about to go buy a new one to see if it fixes my problem
@@BlondeBoyJacob that’s insane. I literally just finished changing my filter the same day I commented that. Unfortunately, it didn’t fix my problem. Hopefully it fixes yours!
@@luisornelas-eq6bp didn’t fix mine either even tho it definitely needed changed
@@luisornelas-eq6bp lmk if you get it fixed and what it was
Appreciate
I get this is what I need to fix but I screwed my clip up, is there any freaking way to force my recirculate on? Where the humidity sensor plugs in I had 3 bare wires because the plug broke on it. What do I do 😭
You’ll need to either reconnect the plug or buy a new one and splice the wires
@@EnoughAboutCars thanks for the reply. That's what I figured. I just ended up taking the vent actuator out and manually moving it to recirculate and re attached the actuator but left it unplugged. Lol.
@@ElGatoss that’s awesome! I wouldn’t have even thought of that. Thanks for sharing
Thank you!
