    This is, by far, the best most concise tutorial I've ever watched & I've seen a ton of them!
    All of the systems & procedures covered here are done clearly and logically which makes learning how to fly and manage the aircraft much easier to absorb and digest into maintaining the knowledge long term. THANK YOU Matteo for taking the time to do this!
    I will come back to this video again & again for years to come as it deserves multiple views to fully appreciate the level of detail & knowledge that it imparts.
    I can not tell you how much I appreciate what you have given us.
    Thank you again Matteo and I wish you "Clear Skies" wherever you fly!

    First, absolutely fantastic video! Second, I have noticed that the transition from arrival to approach, if you are above the G/S when you press the “APP” button, the zibo will not dive the plane to intercept G/S. You must be below G/S when pressing “APP” for the plane to intercept and fly the G/S approach profile. Again, brilliant video with amazing info! Really appreciate your work.

    Very nice Matteo... and I did view it all in one sitting! One of the advantages of being retired! I am more Airbus than Boeing and your A350 cold and dark video was very helpful to me in learning the basic procedures of setting up the plane for takeoff. I have about 115 hours in the 350 so far and it is by far my favourite long haul aircraft. Here in Québec, Canada, the winters are often cold and snowy, so I'll use this video to get acquainted with the 737 during the winter season. Tx again! 🙂

      Genuinely amazed you have managed to watch the whole video lol. I was surprised by how long it went on for, but at the same time there is so much to talk about and explain that time seems incredibly compressed.
      I hope it will be of help!
      I am more Airbus as well in general but the depth of simulation of the Zibo combined with the huge amount of workload of the 737 makes for an incredibly satisfying and immersive experience.

    Hi matteo, some time off of airliners before I really actually started it. In December I picked it up and started studying the zibo. I watched your tutorial 3 times and created a checklist for myself and exactly reproduced what you did here. I must say it has been a truly amazing experiences and puzzle started to make sense to me. It has been THE best tutorial for me and I have watched a couple of dozens. You made it just sound logical, your calm voice is fantastic and you don't jump all through the cockpit. Thus has been the most annoying thing in other videos. People clicking stuff without telling it! Changing views 6 times without actually doing something.....very confusing.

    1:06:40 Wrong comment about the use of the ASU. That unit provides highly compressed air to assist the first engine startup when the APU is not available. The air conditioning unit to provide cooling to the cabin is called ACU, it's got a wider hose and it's much more silent than the ASU, which is, by far, the noisiest machine that you can find at airports (beside plane engines, of course). Apart from that, great tutorial, absolutely accurate and didactic.

    • @matteochewie4373
      @matteochewie4373  2 года назад

    • @DanielRlr
      @DanielRlr 2 года назад

      @@matteochewie4373 Thank you. So it is not possible to start without pressing a button, only with the throttle, in which one presses in completely forward, as in real? How do I assign a button as N1/TOGA? I use the Honeycomb Yoke.

    • @matteochewie4373
      @matteochewie4373  2 года назад

      @@DanielRlr In real life the throttle is actually not advanced manually, but it is automatically moved by a servo mechanism. If you watch videos it does give the impression of being moved manually as the pilot's hand has to rest on the throttle levers until V1 is reached, but it's not actually pushing the levers in between 40% and takeoff thrust.

It is very good to watch this tutorial as I’m away from flight simming nowadays (and watching this tutorial does really calms me before sleep thanks to your relaxing voice.) I just wonder why did you avoid explaining Runway Slope and the Runway Conditions (that wet-dry-skd thing) at the second page of the takeoff configuration? Maybe you have explained them further in the video which I haven’t come upon yet?

      Hi there, thank you for your very kind comment, I really appreciate it.
      To be honest I have never seen anyone using those options, so I assumed they were inoperative in the sim. Have you used them successfully?

    • @hsrky3
      @hsrky3 2 года назад

      @@matteochewie4373 no and yes. I have never seen the effect of Runway Condition Selection, if it has any. Actually I found your video while I was searching if that has a function in Zibo.
      As for Runway Slope, I’ve been using RW slope since most of the times during takeoffs keeping the aircraft on the runway was a pain in airports such as LTAC and LTAI. Unlike FSX (the only flight sim I played except xplane series) sloped runways are implemented pretty well in X-Plane, since XP-9. I think I’m obsessed in Runway Slope as I enter it even if it is 0.0% but it is so fun to calculate; and essential for most of the airports I am used to fly.

    Hi Matteo. Thanks for the really good flight. It was really useful. When you were on your final approach to Santander once you pressed the approach button the aeroplane decided to do a left turn which was not planned. I have been flying a training route from Glasgow to London Heathrow and on most occasions it does that same manoeuvre at around the same point. It’s nice to know that it has happened to somebody else I was beginning to think that it was just me! It is also nice to see that I recovered it in very much the same way as you did although if I’d of been VATSIM at the time I would’ve had to declare a missed approach and go around. I was wondering if you or anybody else has a solution or any idea why this is happening. I have got the latest update for X plane installed as well as the latest Zibo. This is at the 16 April 2021.
