I've been playing the 130 X for the past two seasons. This biggest difference for me compared to other iron shafts has been consistency. They do encourage a late release which has helped tighten my dispersion considerably. I play them in the Maltby TS2 5-PW and Callaway MD4 GW / LW and I've played some of the best golf I've ever played.

Thanks for your comments, Andy. It is helpful to know that the dispersion is also better for someone playing the X flex. Nice irons and wedges by the way! Dave

I've always liked heavier shafts and wondering about these. I presently have a 78 gram Xstiff s in my Ping 410 which is a heavy head to begin with, and I hit it great. Just wondering if these would do the same to my irons. I have a very fast transition at the top and create a lot of lag on my downswing and heavier shafts seem to put me in better tempo

Good video, crazy about shafts and swings, and what clicks and don't.
Had some tm burners, with featherlite(98g) shafts that were stepped like xp95s, 7irn was like sky high 135-45 carry.
Blah blah, years of off and on golf, came back more serious and got into the technical part of the game.
Tried tt's all weights and profiles, blah nothing worked, just sore elbow.
Toyed with the Nippon, tried the 130x thinking, ok a stiffer butt and mid, plus loose tip might be the ticket, was like you described, late release grooved a bit, except they really went high for me, dispersion tight tho.
Then tried, the 105's so so results.
Took some led tape to the featherlites, up towards the grip making them around 105g , took 7irn out to 155'65.
Then, got really wild, and took a broken 3w (65g) and tried that, far tighter dispersion and distance.
Now, about to transition into graphite iron shafts. Lol

There is definitely something addicting about experimenting with different shafts, weights, bend profiles!

@@fit2yougolf926 ... o so true, hope I find my match with graphite sooner than steel, lol.
One thing for sure, testing that 3w in a iron, i felt all the great dampening effects people talk about, my elbow feels far better after a session with it.

Why not review the 120 Stiff? Seems might be in more people's specs.

It's on my list, as is the 105!

What makes you think the 120 model is '"more people's specs"'? It's a very unique design profile... The 125 and 130 models are ALOT more in line with peoples' general swing patterns.

@@wodenoftheangles3339 Agreed. 120 line is more Tour oriented in my opinion.

It's a great golf novelty tee shirt. I found it online someplace searching under golf evolution.
