Great discussion but it would have been good to note that Modus 120 has a very different bend profile than the 105 and 115 and that the 120 is actually lighter than the 115 in S flex.
105/115/125 are just different weights of the same profile. 120 and 130 are completely different profiles. Nippon have 3 different profiles: 105/115/125 (almost identical to a DG), 120 ( soft handle, softer mid and stiff tip) and 130 ( stiff hand, stiff mid and soft tip)
It would be best to get custom fitted to find the best fit for you as there as so many shafts options available, however, the feel might not be what you're after
so wrong. club champion did a comparison and even nippon said that their tip is much more torque resistant and lowers ball flight and spin. CC said DG tends ti psin more with higher trajectories. modus 3 is more like proj x in terms of ball flight but softer feel. so I think this guy is wrong in saying you get more spin and higher launch with modus 3 105
Love my modus 105x they are so nice in that 112-114 gram range. They are great in my new T100.

Does the Srixon zx5 mk2 perform well with the modus 120 S?
Yes performance is great with a few options but modus is a great family of shafts

I’m playing a modus 120 s in mp mizuno and too much ball flight. What do u recommend for mid flight with medium spin

Did a fitting yesterday and tested both of these in the 105. You're spot-on with your comment.
