Cliff Williams is one of my favorite all time bass players.
@@Grodd70 Mine too, so underrated
It’s a shame and sad Rudd and Williams bb are not in the line up. I love Phil’s solid driving rhythms.
Me too! Really a shame, let's hope maybe Rudd can rejoin the band in the future
Phil Rudd’s beat from within his DNA sets AC/DC apart. He’s the reason you catch people who say they don’t like AC/DC tapping their toes when the drums kick in. It’s simply part of him. Other fill-in drummers are always a letdown, although Simon Wright was excellent in ‘Who Made Who’. And he seemed like ‘one of the guys’.
Yeah, I think he and Chris Slade were quite underrated. But obviously, they are not the same
You can tell the difference in the Rhythm Section. It's not as "Crisp"
That's interesting
@@rockandrollgaragetv You can feel a difference! Rudd & William along with Malcolm. Were the foundation of the Band, Very Tight! Nephew, George has the "Feel" it's in his blood. But to my Ear They've lost a little of there Edge? The new Rhythm section is fine. I don't know? It just feels different? Maybe it's the "High Hat" technique of the drummer?
@@kevinkhoy7171 You are totally right
Much as I LOVE this band I won't be going to see them without one of my fave rhythm sections! Phil Rudd is a hard rock human metronome!
For sure!
I got tired of waiting for you to get around to telling us why the bass player and drummer are not going to tour with A DC, so I'm out.
Hey Kevin, the video is a complete statement about the two articles I wrote. If you prefer, you can read them quickly, they are in the video description
I too got tired of waiting to hear why those two won't tour so I called each of them at home to ask and they told me to Eff off.😂🤣
Only Joking. Good video bro, you explained in detail.👍👍👍
@@Joe-ey7cu haha I will get to the point sooner, thanks for the feedback
Ok did we ask buddy go back to you're couch where you belong you ain't cool ya know
Honestly couldn’t find anything on why Phil can’t tour but Cliff retired
Thanks for sharing about Phil. That info is hard to find.
You are welcom, my friend! You can read the interview in the article here in the description!
Internet, easy to find.
And why this lad has 65 subs LOL
I love AC/DC songs !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Ty , for the info ! Got to party with them on their tour bus in 80. Angus had just got married and his wife wouldn't let him come out to play ! All were super cool ! Chugging down heineken's with Brian is a priceless memory 🍻
Wow, that's so cool! Thanks for watching and sharing the story with us!
Hi I have been a fan of AC-DC since 2013
@@ConnorWilson-m5b That’s awesome! I hope you get the chance to see them live soon
@@rockandrollgaragetv I listen to AC-DC on RUclips
@@rockandrollgaragetv do you like bon scott or Brian Johnson
I remember Angus saying - he’d probably die on stage. He laughed, of course.
We hope we still can have him for a few decades
I thought Axl sang his heart out considering how difficult some of songs are to sing.
For sure and it was cool to see some Bon Scott era songs that Brian can't do it
I thought AC/DC should have gotten that singer from the tribute band Bonfire. The guy looks like Bonn sounds like him too. I'm sure Angus knows of him. But probably reminded him to much of Bonn. 😅
Not that Axl wasn't awesome. Glad too see Brian back and strong as ever.
@@rpm2085 For sure, me too!
@@rpm2085 Yeah, but it would have been awesome to see someone singing Bon songs with AC/DC again
Christ this is boring
Love it man, epic content. I met ac/dc band members once and can tell you, in real life they are top blokes. Very modest, and generous with their time. I can fix their live shows now they are old. They need to pay homage to Austin Powers in Goldmember, and get a mini-me. I think get a couple of hot girls to role play mini-Angus and mini-Brian, and add them to the stage for some fun!!
Thanks for watching my friend! Really cool ypu had the chance to see them!
I AM A HUGE AC/DC FAN. I SAW THEM WITH BON SCOTT IN TORONTO, CANADA MY HOME TOWN AND NEXT THING I HEAR IS ABOUT HIS DEATH. I SEEN THEM NEXT WAS THE BACK IN BLACK TOUR. I HAVE SEEN THEM MANY TIMES BUT I DON'T THINK I WILL GO TO A SHOW WITHOUT PHIL OR CLIFF.{M.G}orig TORONTO, CANADA.
That's so cool! Thanks for sharing with us
He is caring for his partner Toni Wilson, who is suffering from stage four breast cancer.
Exactly!
Thanks for that, the two new lads couldn't be more qualified.I would have loved to see Phil, but as you say he has his duties elsewhere. And it's a shame
Cliff couldn't come out of retirement, but I suppose that extra income would have affected his state pension😂🤟
For sure, thanks for watching!
This dude says “uh” 264,000 in a 16 minute video oh and uh one “but”
Uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh but
Let me ask you one thing: how many languages do you speak? If you speak something besides English, you probably sound like that too. So think about it.
I put it on 1.5 speed 😛
Jeepers, some harsh comments about you bro. Tbh yes a little slow to get to the point & I was reading the comments while you were talking, but i accept english isn't your 1st language so gotta take that into consideration yeah. Tough crowd tho..lol
haha thank you, man! I'm used to it haha and that's ok. I speak two languages, most of the people that will criticize my english probably can only speak one, right? So that's ok haha. I will get to the point sooner from now on. Thanks for the feedback!
AC/DC are now a tribute act , I wont be splashing out a fortune to see them.
I agree 400 quid to see them in wembley and their in cahoots with ticket masters price gouging.
nice of u ....avi ISRAEL
Phils mate had cancer, he is taking care of her. Phil didn't want to tour any more on the Black Ice Tour but he did.
Yes
I LIKE ROCK&ROLL/ac/dc
One of my favorite bands too!
U don't know what ur talking about. If Angus is the only original member and Johnson as the replacement singer, no one else is in the band
Well, a replacement singer that is in the band for 44 years and made with them their best-selling album. So of course he is a classic member. The only original is Angus, most of the other original members of the band never didn't even made it to the first album, mate.
@@rockandrollgaragetv wrong. Where is Phil Rudd, where is Malcolm (dead). Where is Cliff. I know the whole history of this band. Including reading many bios "mate". I know what I'm talking about and ur just being an idiot
@@rockandrollgaragetv Thank you for this man! The first lineup only did one single in 1974... By the time of the first Australian album in 1975, Bon replaced the original singer, and they had replaced the bassist and drummer multiple times... Angus and Malcolm had been the only original members since 1974...

Great Video. Thanks
Thank you! Really glad that you watched!
I dont think Phil can do a big tour these days but he probably wouldn't say it himself, Cliff has had enough.

Axl did a great job .....
Totally agree, he was underrated!
Ruud is a real loss

not to mention MALCOLM YOUNG
@@derfreischutz4380 For sure!
You are forget Chris Slade? Whats Going on with Chris?
He is out of the band since the tour with Axl Rose. Phil Rudd returned a little bit before 2020 to record "Power Up" with the band.
Do you people know how old these men are now ? I saw AC/DC 40 YEARS AGO !! What the hell do you people expect from 70 something year old Rockers ? This is actually kinda stupid.
For sure
I like Axl in acdc
Me too, it was really cool to see someone singing more Bon Scott era tracks, right?
Phil would have visa problems with getting in to the US with his convictions.
No his wife has cancer and he taking care of her
AC/DC machine has always kept there business on tight lip, ever since Mark Evans firing, death of Bon, BIB lyrics, Cliff and Phil’s lips are sealed.
You are totally right!
Yes, they've always been very stiff upper lipped on their band business!!
@@Krazy_Shorts hahah totally
I think getting rid of Mark was because he was too melodic and not simple enough. Those albums with Mark & Bon have some great bass parts. Different sound Gibson vs. Fender as well. Just my 2 cents. I am a Hugh Bon era fan but did manage to see the Back in Black tour when I was 18 or so.

The rumors were that Brian was fired... wtf mate .... nobody ever said that he might be fired. It is ridiculous to say that he might have been fired. ACDC have been together for 50 years and BJ has been with them for more than 40 and you are saying that, after all these years there is any suggestion that he might be fired. I cannot find the words to tell you how much that pisses me off..... you have to be really careful with your words, your level of knowledge makes me think that you are a fan, but FFS man, give respect
As I said, there were rumors, that's all. It's not an affirmation he was fired. But the rumors existed, that's all. I'm just reporting that rumors existed but obviously, as I explained, he had to step out of the band due to hearing problems. Not saying anything wrong here. I'm a journalist, I report things, if something is true is true, if something is a rumor, I will say it's a rumor.
The very idea that he could be fired from the band is laughable. Fired! He contributed massively to make the greatest rock band in the world. I think there may be some loss in translation here.
@@ttall3334 Totally agree, man. But I wasn't the one who created the rumor back then. I'm only reporting there was one, that's all. Many people though the group had moved on without him, but that wasn't the case.
I honestly wouldn't mind seeing Axl do some more shows with Angus & co. I actually would love to hear an entire AC/DC album with Axl on vocals. It'd be interesting
I would love that too!

It's Matt Laug, not Log.
Since English is not my first language I don't know how to say every word the right way, especially names. So the pronuciation of his surname would be something like "lag"?

Phil Rudd cannot tour due to his marijuana convictions, he is barred from entering many countries. AC/DC got him off a conviction for the first charges so that the band could tour. Subsequent charges since then, led to convictions.
@@jackamo3108 We don't have that info, but the primarly reason as we say in the video is because he is taking care of his partner who has terminal cancer
@@rockandrollgaragetv If you don't have that info, Google is your friend. In 2015, Phil Rudd, pleaded guilty to charges of threatening to kill and possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. That's a fact Jack.
Can you speak a bit faster next time buddy
Thanks for the feedback
And also speak with many fewer mistakes.
Since English is not my first language, sadly there will be a few mistakes along the way. But I'm trying to improve that everyday. Thanks for the feedback
Let's see how good your RUclips channel is, tough guy. It's not easy.
Axl sadly did a better job than Brian and he continues to sound like a man struggling (and he can be forgiven that given age etc these people are not immortal). Lets be honest this really isnt AC/DC you are going to see.
Provided you know that and provided you think that represents value for money then thats great.
Yeah, you are right. But I think on the other hand we need to think that it's better to still have them around for a few more years. Because think about it, in 10 years there won't be many of these great bands left
I agree totally I just wish old guys like me could be honest with ourselves about expectations-(these guys are fitter than me imagine what Angus has to do to get through a show!)@@rockandrollgaragetv
And it shows Drummer is not Rudd . He's terrible.
Really? That's bad
Cliff retired snd Rudd is a nut job who was let go because of his shenanigans while OFF STAGE away from the band. End of story.
Phil won't be part of the tour because his partner has terminal cancer. We explain that in the video
You need to speak more quickly. I watched the video at x 1.5 - time is short.
Thanks for the feedback, Jason! I will do that in the next videos!
