In this video, we listed 65 bands that should be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. These are extremely important for the history of Classic Rock, Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and many other Rock subgenres. They were also extremely influential for many bands. AS great as Michael is I don't think he is the kind of musician who would work well stepping into another equally great guitarists shoes like taking Randy Rhoads spot for instance or joining Thin Lizzy., he doesn't strike me as a "hired gun" kind of player in the same way a Joe Satriani or Steve Morse are. He is too much of a leader not a joiner although he did hook up with Ratt briefly which was very cool.

I don't understand, I didn't see metallica paying tribute, while they mentionned and showed many times that they love iron maiden... Did I miss it or what ? Also I'd like to add that Tom Morello also paid tribute in an instagram story, and Judas Priest's main account as well. This is really sad news, I really love what he made with iron maiden. rip
Yeah, I was really waiting for the Metallica tribute, Hetfield especially loved that phase with Di'Anno. Maybe there is some beef between the bands, it might be why they didn't mention Paul.
@@rockandrollgaragetv I never heard about a beef between them, and Metallica "often" played covers of their songs live, even released a studio cover so I don't think it might be the reason. Maybe they are not aware, but I don't know they couldn't know.. I was also waiting for their tribute so if you later have any more info i'd he keen to know

@@rockandrollgaragetv Yeah I saw that photo as well, but it's a reaaaally old one, yet metallica still showed their love for maiden until recently. Furthermore, it wasn't Paul... idk it's just weird. I saw tributes from guys I didn't expected to, and I didn't see from the guys who I thought they would obviously do, my brain hurts.

So sad. I met Paul once, had a beer with him (after I accidentally knocked his glass all over him). He signed all my Maiden vinyl and we chatted for a long time. He was such a funny down to earth guy. I remember him saying how much he hated Bruce Dickinson for calling his wife and (apparently) trying to shag her while Paul was in prison! And he kept saying "I'm not a fucking opera singer, this music is PUNK. What a loss, and so sad he never got to reach his full potential, or got the recognition he deserved. End of an era.

I like how it switches major and major keys, as well as the middle eight. The tune always made me feel like I’d heard it before somewhere but didn’t know where. In reality, a song written after it reminds me of it: Mahogany, sung by Diana Ross in the 1970s. Paul’s song, though, still manages to spark more joy - like just about all of his do.

Some great singers and good singers on this list, excluding Johnny Rotten. And you don't have to apologize for Bob Dylan--he's first on most lists, including singer on mine. Not include in this list: Bob Marley, Jackie Wilson, Buddy Holly, and the Everly Brothers, and off of rock and roll, Sinatra and Crosby. Great voices.

I can't believe you or anyone is surprised about Roth. He has had only one true love in his life, himself. Always a vain, conceited jerk and mean. Frontmen often make the group but in this case, Eddie Van Halen ,all the way. He created greatness, and Roth was just along for the ride.

All members of VH should have gotten together and had a bunch of guest star guitarist do VH songs with the band. Have Roth do his VH stuff and Sammy do his. Have Anthony do his and Wolfie do some. Brian May, Sateiani and others play their versions of VH stuff. At least Sammy is doing something and too bad Alex could see fit to have any part of it.
Totally agree but I think Roth would never accept to do something with Sammy and as we can see in the recent interviews, Alex doesn't want nothing with Hagar either. It's really sad but at least Sammy is still keeping that era of the band alive with Michael.

The subject matter was good that's why I was there. I knew about both Ozzy and Chris potentially doing something with VH so it wasn't news to me but I wanted to get some more details on it, but couldn't get through it. I'm 56 and have seen both Ozzy and VH more than once, never did catch Soundgarden live though. CC was definitely one of my favorite rock singers ever. I'm currently enthralled by The Warning, almost obsessed, and it really has nothing too do with their appearance's, though it does help. I wasn't trying to disparage you, constructive criticism is a good thing. Don't give up what you're doing, perhaps just work on your delivery, make it a bit more engaging. Also you seem to have an odd accent going on, couldn't put my finger on it and I've been around the world
