Honorable mention to the great Nicolas Sanchez who retired from professional rugby. One of the greatest flyhalfs who were always overlooked by the media. Legend of the game.
Brilliant guys. That was so enjoyable. Tony going for Engerland is not a good sign, who would have thought that giving up booze would make you go mad. Roll on the best Rugby Championship in the World !
58:00 League has the answer there; there’s the game between the NRL and Super League champs every year. They benefit from a common season in both hemispheres. A one-off game between the super rugby and champions cup winners would be fun, but I can’t see where it would fit in, or who would pay for it.
Yup because in NZ and Australia pretty much all of our rugby is at night 7.05pm or 7.30pm kickoff. Up in the NH you guys play in the afternoon which is awful timing for us down south to watch
I think it was Tuigamala and Bunce that gave the rest of the world the idea that NZ go island hoping to pick up talent, as they had played for their countries first. I think that, along with players with Maori names.
I was just gonna comment on where you two been. But I wasn’t sure which channel to comment on so I just went to bed. Good to wake up and see the boys are back in town 🤙🏾 Post shaka The audio sounds different
Re: sponsor: I think “Come on Eileen” would be a risky pick for a first dance; “hello, hot thing, fancy a triste?” is not a good start to “Have and to hold in sickness and in health.” Re Kiwi weeding songs; this prompted a flashback to the clip from when Jeremy Clarkson went to NZ and did a supercut of all the times he got Crowded House’s “Weather with You” whilst driving up the coast. Which was clearly meant to signal that NZ did not have a rich and varied music scene. This was pre-Lorde, and pre-Clarkson/Top Gear becoming irredeemably mired in reactionary twaddle and workplace violence.
Imagine my surprise when i check out Hot Jams and it turns out i know some of them! Btw Van der Flier is from Wicklow Town a little further south, but Jack Conan is from Bray i believe
34:51 it’s not true to say they are the only things you need to qualify. You cannot qualify to play for Ireland because you were born in Ireland if you since left and have no parental connection or your parents aren’t citizens. You’re not entitled to birthright citizenship in Ireland. However, you are entitled to citizenship based on your parents birth in Ireland.
Guys, next time just edit out if someone needs to go to the toilet. It was 5min of absolute silence. It was actually hilarious that Mark never thought about saying something while Tony was away. Just silence. Haha classic.
France and Ireland are the teams to beat but (apart from Wales) this could be a really open 6Nations. As an Englishman I wish my guys well and also the Italians. We love an underdog (but not the Welsh)….
Thanks for the shoutout lads! Proud to be a sponsor!
Three in a row for Ireland!!!
Tony, give us a shout and we'll try make your wedding in NZ ;)
Cheers Paul mate!
Good on you Paul. I'll try and spread the news. Hot Jams is where it's at when it comes to live bands for an event in Ireland.
Two Cents gets reverb
Mee-ow 😹
But ... yeah
Also - congratulations Tony !!
Two much golf and paddle boarding
Love the way everyone is writing off Ireland, at your peril Gang!

Bravo! We'll miss that name mentioned excitedly during games by commentators. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🍻🇿🇦
Finally a real podcast where the rugby comes first
Brilliant guys. That was so enjoyable. Tony going for Engerland is not a good sign, who would have thought that giving up booze would make you go mad. Roll on the best Rugby Championship in the World !
Great to have the pod back lads!
Ding, ding, clocking in with beers and snacks for a bit of relaxation and banter.
Cheers from South Africa. 🍻🇿🇦
Thank fuurrk this is back!
Nice chat, lads! Welcome back! Dodgy sound, but that's okay. Poor Wales are going to get pumped!
Love your shirt, Tony!

Yeah boys! Stoked to see you back. Sound is a bit dodgy but enjoying it anyway. Old westie in Oz.
You guys get the wrong end of the stick re timings, the earliest I have to get up to watch rugby from your neck of the woods in 6.30 am.
Yup because in NZ and Australia pretty much all of our rugby is at night 7.05pm or 7.30pm kickoff. Up in the NH you guys play in the afternoon which is awful timing for us down south to watch
As an old golfer once said to me 'In the breeze, swing with ease'.

Waiting patiently for the 12 hour loop of Mark waiting for Tony to finishing taking a leak.
I’m sorry champion. I forgot to edit that out
@@DistractedSports it adds to the mystique
@@DistractedSports I love it, it wouldn't be a TCGD pod without bits like that.
I was just gonna comment on where you two been. But I wasn’t sure which channel to comment on so I just went to bed. Good to wake up and see the boys are back in town

Post shaka

I agree with Toni. I do miss missing rugby. These days for South Africans its rugby 12 months of the year.
Imagine my surprise when i check out Hot Jams and it turns out i know some of them!

Irish music is incredibly small ain't it? Thanks for checking out the video :) Pop into one of the shows and say hello if you get a chance!
Haha small world!

Yeah maybe not citizenship but interestingly you can qualify for rugby. Any place you're born, you're eligible to play for by World Rugby's criteria
Hearing the chubby hat guy in stereo is disconcerting...
Welcome back 😁
Chubby hat guy seems to have lost a few kgs over the summer 😅
Hurray.
Gonna save this for some quality time
Guys, next time just edit out if someone needs to go to the toilet. It was 5min of absolute silence. It was actually hilarious that Mark never thought about saying something while Tony was away. Just silence. Haha classic.
Yeah usually that'd be edited 😅 Tony had a work trip the next morning so I think banged this edit out faster than usual

Quality piss break content
Finally the real rugby content is back, the echo is disconcerting
Hello Eileen haha
Yep,I smiled at that too. Come on Tony....
Oh, the toilet break, only Two Cents could do that, lol
Is that crickets I hear in the background?
You guys are SO similar to our SA lads. Dad's want proper fish and chips with batter and chips. Plus sweet teeth and beers.
Nice1 lads
Best part of this show was the toilet break
Yeah I think Tony enjoyed that too 😅
@ just taking the mickey great banter 🇿🇦
bring an etch sketch next time so you can draw the players you can't name. Make tony guess who it is.
51:00 Seriously?
You’re wrong, France are bookies favourites.
Yeah they are now, they weren't a few days ago - lots of recent money going on France
Eco noise boys????
Fergus Burke is more Irish sounding than Scottish. Fergus being an Irish name and Burke the gaelicised version of the Norman De Burgh
Fergus is common in Scotland too
@fergusporteous-gregory2557 but is Irish in origin....
I usually don’t mind Tony talking….
Wales will probably get a miracle win against England in the last game and that will keep Gatland his job 😅 id rather we lost them all than him stay.
No one goes to Hastings in the UK unless absolutely necessary.
Absolute shite hole.
Tony, your sound is a little off mate
How old are you two? Sound like 60year olds 😂😂👍
gay
I only watch this for 2c, distracted is boring and rude
