    I ordered the set for my GH5/GH6 and they are currently on the way. I am happy I found another person that used these lenses on M43, as almost all of the reviewers appears to be using them on E or RF mounts. I am going to test them on a short film in August. The only problem I may have is the focal lengths...as I am going to need to use a different lens for wider shots.

      Thankfully Sirui will be releasing a wider lens, hopefully soon. Definitely needed for establishing shots.

    Awesome video man! Definitely hoping they make a slightly wider version for us MFT users.

      Thanks Nathan!
      According to Sirui, they are making two more lenses in the series: one wider and one longer focal length.
      I'll definitely make a video on those as soon as I can!

    Thanks for the very thorough and helpful video. How do you feel about the 24 mm used primarily for still photography at night? Are there others you would prefer at this lower price point. For reference, I am using the OM1. All the best to you, Bob

    • @RunNGunPhoto

      Hi Bob, it's important to note that this camera doesn't have autofocus. It wouldn't be my go-to for still photography at night.
      I'd probably opt for something like the Sigma 30mm: amzn.to/3tuwtpu

      I agree that a 12mm (24 on M4/3) would be super helpful! 👍

    If you had to order just one of these lenses which one would you choose? Which is the most useful for cinematic projects/commercials/promos etc

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  10 месяцев назад +2

      That’s a hard choice.
      An argument could be made to go for any of the three. Remember they’re all 2X.
      You’ll probably have the most versatility with the widest of the three and still have great bokeh if you need it.

      @@RunNGunPhoto It came in, I got a tiffen glimmer glass filter to go with it, love the lens so far!! Used it for a promo video and even got a chance to do a photo shoot with it, and I love the look. Only complaint would be the focus ring is sooooo loose 😅 gotta be very careful not to bump it. Otherwise fav lens I own right now

      Maybe contact Sirui about the loose focus ring? Mine feels just about right... I'm using it for tomorrow's video.

      Nice! Where did they drop that info? I haven't heard anything yet, other than a long and wider set of lenses were coming soon.

      @@RunNGunPhoto well, it wasn’t specific to the nightwalkers and it wasn’t directly from them, but from CineD (in their video and article reviews), a reputable review company that’s been working with Sirui for a while now. CineD says they will be having 2 new focal lengths for both the Sniper and Nightwalker series. They stated 16 and 75mm 1.2 for sniper. Given the fact that they already have a 75mm cinema lens (anamorphic), and the only difference between nightwalker and sniper is the housing (same glass) it’s safe to say the 16 and 75 (which they ideally would want tk bring to their other series too) will be be the focal lengths for the nightwalker series too, rather than each series having two new focal lengths that are completely different. If anything, they may differ by 1mm like their 23 and 24mm lenses. So, I suppose my statement is more of an educated assumption than confirmation

      @Eyeofkamau 7 месяцев назад

      @@RunNGunPhoto interesting, I guess we’ll just have to see! Are there any focal lengths that they *have* mentioned to you?

    • @RunNGunPhoto
      @RunNGunPhoto  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@Eyeofkamau Zero. They just dropped 3-4 sets of lenses before the end of the year, so I'm sure they're still in the development stage and won't be releasing anything until Q2 at the soonest.
      I'll let you know if I hear anything, but it sounds like CineD is just guessing.

    • @RunNGunPhoto

      A camera or lens is only as good as the operator. Don't buy new gear thinking that it will give you a skill you don't already have.
      Is the Night Walker series great? Yes, the image quality is fantastic! But don't discount years of practice it takes videographers and photographers to get great images.
