Yozora's pretty clever. Many of his moves are actually designed to exploit common tactics players use Many of his combos, like some of the Data fights, has delays during the combo to exploit guard spammers, his teleport sword technique also does that and is out of range from guarding also, he can use his DM AND immediately start at his second phase at the start of the fight, which I don't think any KH boss has ever done

KH3 bosses were so well designed. Not as reliant on good RNG like BBS. Implemented guard usage and dodge rolling effectively, and made it possible to consistently get no damage runs if you studied the fights enough. It felt more satisfying to beat the data battles and Yozora rather than finally getting a good pattern of RNG and cheesing the bosses.

Only thing you might be able to talk on? The fact that on easier difficulties, even without EZ codes, you can rush into a boss and mash X for eternity without strategy.

I've never survived a fight where he round starts DM, but wow DMing twice and having the entire fight in second phase is brutal lol I do appreciate it tho, since when you're learning his fight you get a early look at his DM instead of having to get him to half health to learn it everytime.
When I was learning the fight on critical mode it was actually a HUGE help when he started with the DM so I could practice against it without having to get him to phase 2 each time
Even though the story just feels like Nomura coming up with a reason to make Versus XIII as he originally planned it, this boss fight is definitely still one of the best designed in the series.

After seeing this I believe that 2fm combat is better than 3’s base combat because it was initially slow and floaty, but with these new abilities I actually think it’s better than 2. the combat is not hard hitting but it’s fast and fluid and responsive and I like that better honestly. Blocking mid combo and easy transitions into whatever you want while being able to dodge or block retaliations after you memorize the bosses patterns
I had this happening on me too once and I was soo surprised xD I remember I was still trying to figure out his moves and then suddenly he pulls out this bad boy right at the start... It didnt last very long, I can tell you. :D
The fight is really impressive. And you're one of the, if not the best keyblade wielders I've seen. But I've seen this fight soooo many times now lol. You can probably beat him blindfolded at this point.
And the worst part is it's unexpected. That's like if Lingering Will woke up with it's desperation move and it has the same ruthless tactic like this one. I still love this boss fight even with this sort if annoyance.

Idk if anyone else does this, but you can counter kick into a air dash to evade his blade at 4:00. The blade will just circle around sora, and you'll have the perfect opening for an aerial combo.
I’ve beat him twice already, best run was Lv 38 critical. But man they should’ve added a forfeit option in the pause menu when he starts with the dm or steals your keyblade it disrupts your rhythm I hate having to sit back just to restart the fight, damn rng is nuts with this guy
Will I’m sure you’ve answered this before, but with how insanely well you play this game and utilize all its mechanics, I was wondering if you enjoy KH3’s combat over KH2’s? Your mastery of this game is nuts and is essentially how I suppose the game was actually meant to be played. Your gameplay has shown me just how much variety and style this game can be played with and honestly watching u play it like this makes me think it actually is better than KH2’s gameplay. More potential for variety that’s for sure
It’s pretty close for me. I think 2 has more depth overall, but both are about equally as enjoyable with new base Sora. I’d say I enjoy the main game stuff in 2 more but Limit Cut/Secret Episode are my favorite pieces of content in any kh game
Do a No Damage with the Hard mode on, Critical, Level 1, Yozora starts with Desperation move. The only time you can get hit is when Yozora steals kupo coin, let him steal it.
Scenarios like this makes me really think that bosses in games should have a stamina bar that is used up with attacks, bigger the attacks,more the stamina meter is used. Hopefully it’s a concept that prevents bosses from cheesing players quickly and spamming moves so often. I know that RPGs program in the attack pattern to balance things, but seeing this really makes me think that KH really likes to test your reflex speed and learning attack patterns of the bosses a bit too much. I know super bosses are supposed to be tough, but to instantly trying to cheese the player, wtf
The Limit Cut episode especially likes to test your everything. It's very intense. At least once you beat your first boss in the Limit Cut episode, you'll probably have an idea of what the superbosses expect out of you. Beating the first one, though That took me a long time
More restrictions: No magic, no Crit Counter, no accessories, no armor, no cuisine, no last charge finisher (magic based) and Ever After instead of Kingdom Key because of 2 points less strength. Has 3 more magic but u would avoid magic anyway. Ofc no ultima cuz of combo and air combo Boosts
i would've never thought to use the falling attack. i tried it during the opening dm where you're both falling and yozora lands first but there wasn't enough time. is it actually a really good source of damage or is that what you meant in the description by messing up the dive? dive interrupts dm?
What makes this chance worse is he gets harder when he use his DM and can use it again when you get half his hp some of the devs really had a grudge for calling their game easy

On all Pro Codes the dive does more damage per RV. You need to use it if you want to DM skip with all Pro Codes.
