Loving the buffet, can't wait to see it finished up and styled! I recently bought a hutch exactly like the one (around 12 minute mark) from FB Marketplace for $40. I completely removed the doors and painted it a homemade mix of DIT greens/blues, then white waxed it! We took it up to our little lake cabin, and I love it!
The fabric was a complete win! It is a beautiful piece. The paint inlay looks beautiful, but like others, I have not done it yet because of the intimidating process.
The paint inlay technique is very interesting. I like how the buffet turned out. I can understand someone being nervous about trying them. I would start with a smaller project. I am in Northern Illinois and am waiting for the weather to be nice so I can go outside and start spray painting the items I have collected. I can understand your excitement to be working outside. Thanks for sharing!
Oh my! The wicker sofa looks so very much better! I'm sure it will sell quickly. Looking forward to seeing what other projects you'll be making for your first show!
I loved all of these flips but that buffet is stunning! It turned out so beautiful… the inlays may have to be on my list, I’m so impressed with them but I’m one of those who’s nervous about using them. I’ll have to try them soon! ❤️
Hi Sonnet. Yes, the inlays are awesome!! You just have to go for it. I did the inside of a curio with paradise. Because of some brush strokes in my paint the inlay looked slightly distressed which I loved!! I loved your buffet!! Considering getting that inlay too!! Btw, your wicker couch looks so fresh now with the new fabric!!😍
The paint inlay on the buffet is gorgeous. I really like the look. The tool tray you built is fantastic! I need to find some old fence boards and a spindle!!!! Thanks for sharing
Wicker piece turned out Beautiful love the fabric, I also liked all the other projects thanks for sharing you are so talented I always enjoy your videos.
That buffet is beautiful....I love the inlays. It does take a little trial to get it right ...my first project turned out ok, but I had one inlay not transfer much onto my tabletop I was doing so was able to do it again over it and it was definitely the perfectly imperfect....I did a 12" wood cut out bunny with DIY cherry paint and rose chintz inlay....was sooo cute. I'm going to be in Wisconsin during the time of your May sale so my sister in law and I are going to the sale...I am so excited. I might stop by your store booths on a different day
Loved your haul especially your creative box with the spindle. It looks like a old tool box. I know because I have a original one and they are not cheap. I put greenery and flowers in mine. I have it sitting on my mantel. It looks great been given allot of compliments on it. I absolutely loved the hutch. Was looking for one that size but couldn’t find one so settle for one a little bigger. Like I’ve said before I sure wish I lived closer to you. Thanks for showing us you great find. Hugs my friend
Love the new fabric on the couch - but I think it still has the same issue the red fabric had - that back is SO big and appears uncomfortable - it's might not be - but it just looks like it probably is - can't wait to see how it looks with accent pillows - I think that will give the couch the inviting vibe it lacks... Blessings!
Joel Dewberry made the fabric for that piece of furniture!!! That was so pretty. I love the buffet and the old tool box thing you built is gorgeous. I love that you added the black and cream barn quilt. Perfect pairing. ♥️
(I took the center vertical piece off completely as well. Then, because I have way too much stuff already, I took the two glass doors to our local restore. After a week or so I saw they marked him for $15 for the set, and sold them immediately. (I'm not sure what I could've made using them, I guess I should have made something!)
Beautiful job on the cushions. I really liked the red, too, however. But this new fabric is more versatile. The buffet looks great. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Are you going to be opening up the membership group any times soon? I threw my back out and was out of commission for about a week and totally missed the deadline. Have a productive weekend!!
I would love to try the paint inlays but they are pretty expensive especially for the limited number of uses... just a bit much. I have to admit that I have enjoyed seeing you and a few others use them. Pastor Karen
Hi Sonnet!! I love the big tote you made!! Your Buffett is going to look so good. The Buffet looks amazing as.well. I'm in your private group but what group were you talking about?

The couch looks totally different! It’s fabulous!! The buffet is stunning! And the caddy is so cool.

I loved the wicker couch in red but it does still look pretty with the new material too.

Love the tool caddy! The other pieces are very pretty as well.
I am loving the IOD paint inlays.
Beautiful sideboard 💖 I love the fabric you did the cushions on the wicker. I’m new to your channel and I’m so glad I found you 🥰🥰🥰

Love how all the projects are turning out!! Can’t wait to see the final staging. ❤
These inlays are beautiful and the whole reason I’m nervous they’re kinds pricey 🤣 for me to make a mistake 🤗💕
Glad you said you could use them again. Otherwise they are pretty pricey for furniture pieces!
Love the new cushions Sonnet. Have wonderful Easter.

I like the couch but the red looked just as nice it’s just according to what someone want’s anxious to see how fast it sell’s
Love the buffet

Wiker couch is fabulous!!!
The wicker couch looks lovely. I'd like to try the paint inlays in the future when more of my craft items sell.
Love your ideas.
Another awesome video!
I got the China blue inlay but haven’t used yet.
