I have a grandfather clock just like yours. My dad made it in the early 80's. I put in the works and got it running. It still runs today. The only thing is: if you move it without tying down the pendulum, it will screw it up and it won't run. Another thing is, it looks like the chain it too high. This will also stop it. Both of these are easy fixes. I'd look for another person who works on clocks and at least find out before you destroy the clock. If you put shelves in the bottom of the case, the clock will never run, so you will have to do something about the top too. You got some terrific finds. I love most of them. Actually, my favorite is the enamel pan with the green edge. I got a couple pie plates like that from an aunt and now I collect it. I call that green color Granny Green because we saw it in all our grandmother's (or great-grandmother's) kitchens! Keep thrifting!
I took the weights and pendulum out when I transported it. I’m going to sell it as is and make a note that it may work if someone looks at it. It’s very beautiful so I’m not going to put in shelves. Thank you for all the great info!! 🤗

Wow! Some great finds. The chip in the bird’s tail can be disguised by giving them the faux cement finish. The steins look as though they have a salt finish. What a find!! So now I’m going to check out your IOD stamps. I use transfers all the time. WARNING once you use them you will be hooked. They are very addictive! Thanks for sharing your haul. I’ve got a broken arm right now, and just had surgery so holding and filming right now is super hard. I did my first few videos with a trip & thrift, then flip. It’s so generic I’m afraid to even post it. I found 3- items and really want to make my video cute n sweet and be real with people. I’m too afraid to put it out there because I look horrible right now because I’m not able to do my hair or makeup because I only have 1- hand that works. Oh my gosh I can't pick a favorite! What a great haul & those freebies; love, love, love!! I love chests. I used my mom's Lane hope chest as a coffee table until I lost it in a house fire. I'm still heartbroken to this day. Now, I've been keeping my eyes open at every thrift store for one I could use again. Always looking forward to see what you do next :)

How do you find these fabulous pieces!? When I go thrifting, I don’t find such wonderful items. I usually go to a variety of second hand stores, Goodwill, neighborhood thrift stores, Salvation Army, school resale item stores. I’ve noticed this year the prices are getting higher in resale shops and Goodwill.

Those clear flower pots might make adorable cloches if you turn them upside down and add some kind of a knob or handle. Just a thought.
