Sonnet you kill me! I can not believe that you constructed your studio from the ground up😵😵💫😵. If I wasn't almost a senior citizen I would say “when I grow up I want to be just like Sonnet “. ❤️ ❤️❤️ I hope when you do the reveal that you have some footage of the build. Every time I watch a video of yours I am completely blown away and I learn something new about you. Don't throw that away I'm sure that you can do something amazing with it. All of treasures were fabulous.
Chimayo is a small town north of Santa Fe in New Mexico. Originally the Tewa Indians were living in the valley and then when Spanish explorers came in it became a mission. Each year there is a pilgrimage to the Santuario around Easter. People walk for miles. Some carry large crosses and some even crawl. The history is very interesting and you can find more online. You found a VERY unique piece!
I Hope you keep the bedroom furniture together it is so hard to fine. The studio you built looks so nice, happy for you to have a place for you and all your things!
You had a great junkin time!!! Cant wait to see what you turn the bed and the dressers into. Don't you just love it when you find so many good things!!! So much good stuff!!! Hope your weekend is wonderful! 🍁🍁🍁🍁🍁
The last basket (with the hinged lid) may be a Peterboro which are hand made in Peterboro New Hampshire. look on the front, under that silly fabric and there may be a small plaque. Great finds, and your free finds are just amazing!
Pretty sure that's an art nouveau set in production from 1930-1940. Fits Gabriel Furniture's timeline since they opened in 1928. Personally, I couldn't turn the bed into a bench. Couldn't separate the set after all this time. But I guess it's better than tossing it in the trash. I can't believe some of the stuff people throw away. 🤷♀️
I too can't believe someone would just put that furniture on the curb. Crazy. Great haul. Can't wait to see what you do with some of it. I can't wait to see your studio too.
Thanks for another great video. I love your haul videos. I didn’t go last weekend, just filled my booth and worked on getting more of my Christmas stuff ready to sell. I will be junkin’ next weekend because after seeing all your good stuff I have FOMO 😆.
I have been watching your channel for a while now and I feel like I have gotten to know you through this little community you started. So I giggled to myself when you pick up anything pottery related because if anyone truly has been following your channel for any length of time they learn pretty quickly that you cannot pass up a good piece of pottery! lol Whether it be a mug or vase if it's pottery you will snag it up!!! I love getting to know what you like and your booths are always looking top notch too!!!!! Thanks for sharing your inside/behind the scenes look at your small business owner life. So much fun to get a peek at what it is really like!
Omg, SO impressed that you built your own studio with thrifted finds! I can't wait for your reveal! Great haul, I wouldn't change out the bed in the 3 pc set you found, someone would probably love to have the bed with the dressers. Can't believe it was just out on the curb. Lucky you!!!
Found my best pieces on the side of the road or someone was throwing it out. Can't wait to see what fabulous creations you come up with.Fantastic studio can't wait to see that too. Thank you for another great video ❤🧡💚 Don't throw out the little stool table it just needs a coat of paint and a stencil, it would be good for storage in your studio ❤
I appreciate that the dressers and bed were from Gabriels! I thought it was neat when the store closed and they took off that facade and there was a beautiful old building!
My favorite piece was that old chippy dilapidated chair. I love to deconstruct and do stuff with the pieces. Then that piece has many more lives to live. In your thhroft3haul it had to be the 3 baskets that are together.
Holy moly...you have some really great finds at your GoodWill! I don't seem to find the neat stuff you do at ours. Guess I'll just have to go more frequently! Great haul!!!
You, Ginger and Julie got some great stuff this weekend. Can’t wait to see what you do with it all. And your studio….omg. First time hearing about it. What can’t you do? 🤗
Nice finds....always fun to see the hauls....the high chair is beautiful as is, the wood grain is great.....I would not paint it ..I think that would steel the beauty.....Love your channel thank you for sharing
You MUST a look up Santuario de Chimayo. Famous church. Miracles, Easter week, men would carry a cross the size Christ carried. It’s a religious walking meditation to be like Christ and experience how hard it was to carry a cross. In northern NM.
Chimayo (Chee-MY-o) is close to me. The Santuario de Chimayo is a church where people on pilgrimage can take some of the dust for healing. Every Easter weekend, starting with Good Friday, people will walk from all over the state to arrive at the church on Easter. Some people do carry crosses as part of their pilgrimage. I've never participated, but I see people on the highway every year.
I thrifted that same bench and it was a mess. It took me forever to sand it down without needing it up but it turned out so beautiful. I did a natural top and a black base. Thanks for sharing.
Loved your thrift haul. You find a lot of unique things. Looking forward to seeing how you add you touch. The furniture is awesome.. Just love it when you thrift or how you get your items. No favorite like all.
Aren't those pounders and pestles? I don't know about your pointy ones. 2:39 I have one like that but in a beautiful light green with vining all over it. One of my faves. 8:00 Wow! Good for you. 11:36 Love that clock, the color and the face. 13:11 The pattern reminds me of tin ceiling and the amber is gorgeous. 15:58 That's the barn red I've been telling you about. Our house was that color. 21:57 Don't throw away the piano bench. Paint and some rub-ons around the edges. What Mom doesn't need storage wherever she can get it? End of a bed seat? Dressing table? Home office? Give it a whirl, if it doesn't work out, put it on the curb. 22:11 The top of the chair could get attached to the back of bench seat for some interest factor. Maybe cut one of the seat pieces into a rail for underneath the piece?
I always enjoy your videos; I loved the bureaus and bed, nice wood on them. Your treasures are interesting and can't wait to see their evolution with you.
I got on a basket kick and have sixty baskets I got them at Goodwill for a dollar to three dollars a couple big ones I paid six I’m not a crafty person and I’ll probably never use these but I like to look at them I don’t spend money on anything else and that became my hobby and I’ve bought a few vases our store usually has two big bins of baskets and on Friday they will be seventy percent off I like to look for different ones and have started collecting miniature ones it’s just something fun to do I like your studio I can build dog houses but that’s all I have two dogs and they have six houses and a porch had to quit spending money on lumber😀
Love your finds sweetie! Thrifts items were all great. Can't wait to see their transformations. But you really scored BIG on those curb goodies! I use to find some pretty good finds like that. But that bedroom set was pretty remarkable. Looking forward to Friday! Tyfs. HUGS
If the clock (yellow) you can get a battery op.mech for clocks and replace it. Try it, I did and I have a lot of clocks due to doing that. BEST OF LUCK.

That cross is a work of art. I would sell that as close to “as is” as possible. I wouldn’t have given it up either!
