Of course it was and gutsy as well. The rider went in between him and car and he pulled the rider off the bike and he did it without hurting the rider. It’s a stretch, but might have saved that guys life and the other rider. There is another rider there that is on the ground in front of that car. If he doesn’t stop him the rider is going to hit that downed bike or the downed rider. At that speed that would be an endo and a lot of pain. Guy risked himself to save that rider and downed rider.

It would have to have been some severe crafty criminality to be deliberate, mainly because the rider on the ground would have had to have planned to fall in that exact spot!

Too many idiots in cycling. Get rid of the team cars, get rid of race radio, get rid of the stupid number of mopeds on the course. One neutral car with spare bikes and wheels is all that’s needed. That’s what they have at the Olympics
Presicely my thoughts as well. It is ridiculous the whole thing with team intercoms and on race folllowing support team cars. IMO the race should be the athletes competing with each other and the equipmemts reliability being put on the test. No bike exchanges wheels or anything. If the bike fails you are out. If you have the tools to fix it yourself then yes of course. A set of such rules would challenge the cycling companies as well into making gear that works more reliably has better longevity and the teams to choose equipment that lasts for more than one race. Nowadays all we care about is weight savings. There should be penalties for part replacememts between the races as well.
Get rid of all cars.
If you get a flat tire, you're out.
No cheating.
Your own fault.
Secondly: impose speed limits on downhills. Bikes could be made not to go over say 50 km/h downhill to avoid accidents. Or start using heavier but safer bikes. It's not about going at extreme speeds, it's about safety.
@@MonetILUimposing speed limits !? Naaa

I think that was his BullShyte excuse for doing it. Rider was pedaling through the accident. That is no excuse to body check him. He was safely riding thru.
