Hey Bro, back in the good old days ham?! 😅 You was my professor in the Beatmaking learning process since nobody in that time was making beats in Reaper, just a few here and there and I was determine to make it happen so gotta thank you bro!!! Sure that this one will help alot more Reaper user's to level up in the best daw in the world (At least in my opinion)...Cya!!!
@WodzuBeats The Problem the first timers are having is that your config file has your midi settings included in it, your Mk3 and Audio interface for example, and when they initially install your config and Reaper restarts, it gives an error message that those devices aren't found. So the quick solution is to re-save the config without your Midi and USB interface set up and or configured. basically the same config with default midi and audio settings. But I appreciate your work and Thanks for Looking Out for the Community!!!!
How do you re-save the config file WITHOUT ASIO audio? I can get everything to run, but when i go into the Sitala drum bus, i cannot hear anything, no audio what so ever. i tried changing the audio system from ASIO to WaveOut and exported my config file, then re-opened Reaper with the "newly saved" config file, but still cannot get any sound from this. Am i missing something?
Awesome video! I've been waiting for more "beatmakers" get into Reaper. (To whom it may concern: you can just drag/drop any drums sound into Sitala. You can also use Sitala as a proper 'sampler', in place of Reasamplomatic, if you so choose.)
i play guitar and piano fluently with mastery of chords, but i respect computer musicians who deal with the interface to find the chordal and melodic sounds they love, it's kinda harder than actually playing instruments, and a craft, in its own, which is very enjoyable, in a different way than playing music. both skills are recommended, especially for opposing camps musically or philosophically. for me, products like instachord or scale/chord function in ableton or chord gun in reaper or cthulhu or captain plugs in and on and on are exciting tools for anyone who understands music theory! the possibilities they offer are mind boggling and endless and fun
i've used reaper for years in linux, , but learn sooo much from your videos, thanks. i have a win machine now, and ableton, but reaper is vital, not the synth. ..
i use ableton, but reaper has helped me through window-less times. it's sooo fast and stable and limitless, compared to my $100 version of ableton 10. thanks!! +
Sorry, total noob trying to follow along. I cannot import the template due to an error from Reaper. "There was an error opening the audio hardware: No ASIO drivers The following MIDI inputs could not be opened: Maschine MK3 Ctrl MIDI" EDIT: After switching the audio device from ASIO to WASAPI and marking Maschine MK3 Ctrl MIDI "not present" I can actually open the template with no errors. But now the Sitala bus will not make any sounds or events when inside the project created from the template. Any ideas?
reaper kept me happy for over four years as a linux on usb live drive on ancient windows laptops with dead hard drives, . i still use reaper even tho i have ableton, again... considering converting or dual booting linux distro on this much faster computer than i had before...
Love the channel. Love the idea. But I don't have nearly enough Reaper knowledge to fix all the error messages installing this template presents. I'll revisit it once I know more.
@@WodzuBeats Thanks for reaching out! I reset to factory default, but they were something along the lines of ASIO and Mk3 not available errors. Then when I quit the plugins I got an error saying the Maschine device was not recognized. I pointed to mine and went further. After all was done I got just the usual blank template and nothing like you showed on your screen??? How is that possible? Yes, I downloaded the TAL reverb and installed it.
