As a dub musician, I’ve used varispeed for so long and it’s amazing. No tempo sync or pingpong, sadly, but it’s a great way to get the classic dub delay effect for like 2% of the cpu
I've never seen your videos before and I gotta say - when I saw the headline and heard the premise, I was almost certain this was clickbait and that I'd already know about all of the plugins you mentioned. Instead.... I was pleasantly surprised - you covered at least 3-4 that I'd never heard of before (and also reminded me of some that I'd downloaded but forgotten about!). Well researched vid - impressed! Subscribed.
Oh my god! YES! I remember i stumbled upon one of of those some time ago, but i was unable to go through background check! Gatekeeping is so intence! 😂
You can drag your own one shots into Sky Keys as well🔥 It essentially becomes a multi fx sampler where you can use all of the built in effects on whatever original source you want.
@@prodkxvi you can’t save them within the vst unfortunately but you can save the track/channel strip within logic. The creators said they’d work on this with future updates.
This plugin has way more going on that just an emulation of the original hardware though if I'm not mistaken. Not talking smack on the hardware, just pointing that out because I heard about this at release and didn't check it out because I thought it was just a basic reverb with harmonizer or whatever.
Good video.. I understand the desire to collect an arsenal of vst plugins, this is something that I used to do all the time. That said, before people go out and spend a tons of money on these, I'd say learn to use your DAW's stock plugins. Whether it be Logic, FL, Abelton or Bitwig, they all have excellent plugins that can do the vast majority of what these plugins can do.
This is great advice bc some of my favorite plugins are stock FL plugins. But I’ve also made a lot of my favorite stuff, or at least stuff I would have never made, just bc I wanted to use a new plugin I just got. It’s a different type of motivation to create when you get some new vsts
Thank you for the vid man, it's always a pleasure to watch your content, and with such an informative and fire vid, guess we're gonna make some banger!!! 🔥🔥🔥
@@BrotherMalMusic usually anything which requires transient shaping and clipping lol. Let's be honest, the moment trap/rap music is getting boring, lifeless music. All we hear is over distorted 808, when it's gonna end? Or iam just getting old
Not cus ur old, I'm 18 and have had that thought for the past 2 years atleast. Main stream trap wave is very boring to me, but theres still so much great underground hip hop music coming out so I'm eating good.
I have the Fox Echo and the Galaxy Tape echo. They are very vibey but they aren’t as versatile for sound design as say the *free* Valhalla Supermassive.
"Gatekept" yet he openly tells each producer up front that he's filming a video about vsts. If its really gatekept, you think they gave you an actual gatekept list of vsts?
Click bait title. Who gatekeeps plugins? That's like saying people keep diet Coke a secret so no one else can have any. With the internet nothing is a secret, and why companies have marketing teams.
Music that you don't hear in your head is not worth recording. Are you sure that all that randomized stuff is worth a channel? It seems as if producing and engineering is splitting up radically (is that a good thing?). I like that seven string on the wall.
There is nothing here that is in any way unique or what you call gate keept. Any decent multi FX plugin will do everything you showed, furthermore a good one will do it better then the cheep plugins you suggest. The last thing I want is to be buying plugins for one specific effect because that's ridiculous to me. My old copy of Izotope Excalibur will do most of these effects better then the plugins you demonstrated. I would go as far as to say this video is nothing more then a promotional commercial for bad plugins.
Imo a loot of why people certain plugins is ease. Why do you even need a Mukti FX when you can get a single one that does it better? probably ease of use. I also find that something like Fresh air is actually quite useful because in pretty sure it's a mix of adding a noise layer and a multi band compressor and doing tye noise layer stuff isn't possible in a lot of multi FX anyways
