@@abuahmed3886 I'll tell you. Eat a KETO diet (look it up), stop eating carbs, sugar and grains and heal yourself. Give it two years, and you won't be insulin dependent anymore. Good luck!!
I had to take an Ishihara color test at my dot physical. Is it a disqualifying condition if someone does poorly in this test due to green/red color deficiency but is still easily able to identify simple color bars?
you are quite welcome. we allow a trace amount as long as there are no other conditions that come up on the exam. This will depend on the doctor doing the exam however
So I have watched several of your videos which has given me quite a bit of insight. One of the items I am addressing is I am trying to get my permit or truck driving school. The doctor has prescribed me the CPAP machine but they are on backorder nationwide and not sure when I will actually get one. My question is if I go in for my physical am I going to be able to get my dot card so I can get my permit. And then come back in 3 to 6 months with my compliance paperwork
this situation will be up to the doctor doing the exam. I would likely give you a short certificate to become compliant with the sleep apnea requirements
I am currently in the hiring process for a national company as a non cdl driver. They are calling for a “dot physical” and “Urine Collection - 5000 - DOT Panel (5000)” is that just the typical UA or is that a drug test?
Once again, so many thanks for your expert view on this important subject, and your channel. I watch all of your videos...
You are very welcome
Thank you for your efforts, would please tell us on same way what do dibetecs type two on insulin requirement to be DOT cleared

The FMCSA only requires that you can recognize red, green and amber. The Ishihara test is not the standard.
@@EasyDOTPhysicals Thanks, Doc. I appreciate your quick reply!

A clearance letter at minimum. Some may not certify at all with this drug.

Your employer is asking for a DOT physical and a separate drug screen urinalysis.
So wait there is no drug test?
Not as part of the standard DOT physical
