Congratulations! You took your time to decide and that is for the best. I agree that it is a good value for a van that it already in the country. The double sun roof rocks. Sand and paint the rear wiper arm - it's driving me nuts.

It only took me a few minutes to sand and paint the rusty wiper arms on my Hijet mini truck. I didn't even remove them. I should have done more masking because I had to spend ten minutes razor blading the black overspray off the windshield. LOL. Rust-Oleum Bumper & Trim paint is cheap and does a good job.
@@Liberty4Ever Yep, it's a quick fix and those wiper arms can betray the true age of a vehicle that is in otherwise fine shape.
@@KLFaber - I've done several of the little easy fixes but still have the big items to do on my mini truck - Medium Quartz Gray Monstaliner polyurethane bed liner paint job inside and out, double DIN ATOTO stereo with backup camera, 2" progressive spring lift, new tires, keyless entry, etc. I'm probably 30% finished on my 4WD mini truck project and I want to buy a 4WD mini van. 😲

I like the vans much more unless the person will be doing pickup stuff although the van can also do it with a closed top
Nice Street! I'd go for the 4WD van, but 2WD is better for you. Good deal! The Street is much more practical than your (soon to be someone else's) Motocompo or your Beat.

these vehicles seems to be a lot cheaper out east. here in the west, especially the NW, they're charging and arm and leg for anything decent. $5k you'd be lucky to a beat up rust bucket with 200k km.
Yeah east coast is cheaper for sure but the condition isnt always the best and most of the seller sell them without a US title which allows the price to stay low
The important thing is the mechanical condition (engine, transmission, etc) not the appearance ! BUT GOOD LUCK and Enjoy
