"You Just F**ked Us, Legend!" | American Sniper (2014) #shorts #americansniper #movie #movieclips
American Sniper is a 2014 American biographical war drama film directed and co-produced by Clint Eastwood and written and executive-produced by Jason Hall, loosely based on the memoir American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History (2012) by Chris Kyle with Scott McEwen and Jim DeFelice. The film follows the life of Kyle, who became the deadliest marksman in U.S. military history with 255 kills from four tours in the Iraq War, 160 of which were officially confirmed by the Department of Defense. While Kyle was celebrated for his military successes, his tours of duty took a heavy toll on his personal and family life. It stars Bradley Cooper as Kyle and Sienna Miller as his wife Taya, with Luke Grimes, Jake McDorman, Cory Hardrict, Kevin Lacz, Navid Negahban, and Keir O'Donnell in supporting roles.

What else can you expect from American patriotic fantasy AKA Hollywood?
Literally look up Juba Sniper, and you'll see our guys dropping from body shots. Not always, but it still happens.
You do realize that guys took out their plates, especially engineers, and pogs. Right? Not to mention the shortage of armor plating that caused some of them to go without full armor unwillingly. And since the scenes literally shows penetration through back and chest. Obviously it’s meant to imply he wasn’t wearing his plates. @@BBGhost6 I did watch the clip you bozo. What I was referring to is the sniper's spotter tells the sniper the shot is impossible BUT one of their guys had just been shot. So how is it impossible for the american but not the Iraqi
@@commanderaxton7909 the enemy sniper was using an SVD, and older soviet designated marksman rifle. Not even a true sniper rifle, but a weapon designed just to give small units some glass during a time while most guys just rocked irons. I believe it has a max effective range of about 1k yards, and that 54R isn’t going to be moving all that fast at past that range. That and it’s not all that accurate of a gun, it’s a sub 2 MOA at 100 yards at best.
I believe Chris was either using his 300WM or his .338. It’s been a while since I’ve seen the movie, but what is for sure is that both of those rounds can reach out and touch the mile marker. That and he has a true sniper rifle, designed to be incredibly accurate. They should be sub 1MOA weapons at the 100y mark.
There’s a lot to take into account, but I think it’s one of the dumbest lines in the movie. Most of the terror groups the US, and coalition partners, have fought have been nowhere near as well equipped as our guys. The equipment to make the shot is there. There there’s the matter of skill, at this point his marksmanship shouldn’t be questioned. They literally refer to him as “Legend”. There was the right man behind the right rifle, no shot should be “impossible”. No need to ad extra dramatic effect. Being surrounded by enemy combatants is enough.
