Front Axle Fluid Change on New Holland Workmaster 35 / 40 - And Wow It Needed It!

What I unfortunately didn't get a good shot of for this video is all the metal shavings that were in the fluid I drained into the pan. In the sunlight it glistened like snow! A fluid change was definitely needed at 30 months and 170 hours on this tractor. Sometimes I think doing maintenance earlier than the manual indicates is the best practice. #compacttractor #tractor #newholland

The blue cap you removed is a breather, the dip stick is under the white bolt cap in the same place on the other side.

Is there any chance the dipstick fell off the cap inside the axle housing?
