This song is about much more than Nikki Sixx and his heroin overdose. There are lines in the song about each band member, mostly relating to things they did in their time off before recording the Dr. Feelgood album.

"Always got the cops comin' after me / Custom-built bike doin' 103" - Guitarist Mick Mars led police on a high-speed "fun-run" down the freeway on his motorcycle.
"Skydive naked from an aeroplane / Knew a lady with a body from outer space" - An ode to drummer Tommy Lee's relationship with Pamela Anderson. Also, he did skydive naked.

I'm so glad I was a teenager in the 80's. We had so much fun!! Lived and died for Motley Crue. Seen them 5 times. I think the best show I went to was in 87.Guns N Roses opened
Saw them in 85 during the "Theatre of pain" tour. Saw them 20 years to the month later during the "Carnival of sin" tour. Awesome!

Kick ass is all you can say about this song! Adrenaline packed for sure. What a jam! Have seen this band many times over the decades and the show is always crazy good. I won't say that Vince has the best vocal chops in the world but he was one hell of a front man.

This is my second favorite Crue song behind Wildside. Mick Mars is a guitar legend. So many drummers have taken some of the amazing drum breaks that Tommy created. Joey Jordison is one of the best.
