Great Conversation, Thanks Tommy and Lisa. Looking forward to see the band live on July 15th in Ft Lauderdale, trying to get the VIP upgrade but Buckcherry's page only accepts PayPal, hopefully they can give another choice, since I do not have PayPal.
As far as bands (or comedians) passing on Atlanta or any other city (or town with a decent venue), that really all ties in with promoting, touring and booking. Some venues have had a big turnaround when they got a new booking person in and the quality of bands playing there went from "local tribute band" to national touring acts and the place has been doing booming business over the past 2 years. We're in an era where rockers are "aging out" and doing their last tours, and when you talk about Ghost and Buckcherry, Tobias is in his early 40s, Josh is in his early 50s. This is why you should try to see these bands now and yes, try to make it to a festival, but I know how some people are still hesitant about being in crowds or just random things to complain about (some valid, some not, some people haven't been to a concert since shows went "ticketless", or how much concessions went up since they last went to a show).
I’m glad Lisa mentioned Ghost. If you’re not familiar with them, please check them out they are a monster band. I think of them as melodic metal. It’s a theatrical performance with an ongoing story, but at the heart of it all is great music. and they’re live performances are just fun. don’t worry about them being satanic I remember another band back in the day that were accused of being Knights In Satan’s Service.Cheers…Cindy.
Steve D is such a nice guy. ❤
Love this. Stevie is such a great guy and a complete Shredder !!
Awesome that he got to see Randy Rhoads live. What a special player he was.

Chris Cheney from the Living End is a beast! Thats the guitar player he's talking about. The douche bag he's referring to is Bobby Blotzer of Ratt.
