If we could get the fuel economy info to show only on the touchscreen, then I'd be 100% happy with it. At least if you upgrade later you'll be able to keep the carbon bezel! kinda late but did all the plugs connect onto the new one? one harness wire couldn’t connect to any of the available plug spaces on the back of the radio, but everything is working fine.
It’s for the phone controls on the steering wheel and for the phone dock you can still charge it but it won’t be able to play music from the usb you can still use Bluetooth for music it’s also for the radio clock I’m trying to find an adapter harness I’m not in a rush everything else is working
I did this swap on my 13 Si also. The handsfree buttons on the bottom left of the steering wheel don't work for me. Do they work for you? Everything else works fine. For the reverse, you'll need to rewire it from the harness on the iMid to radio harness. I forgot which pin it is but there's a diagram of the pin layout on the 9thcivic forum.
Backgrounds on the iMid still uses the usb port inside the armrest. That wasn't affected on mine when I swapped headunits. I just reviewed the wiring diagram, there's another 24pin connector for the touchscreen headunits that has all the camera wiring, both for reverse and lane watch. It seems that's all it's used for, so if you want the review camera on the radio then you'd have to rewire the correct wires from the iMid to that connector.
