Not really feeling Trisha on this episode. Just because she doesn’t have a father and is “okay” with it, she was projecting her feelings onto her guest. The woman has a right to know where she came from! She’s a mother and now creating her own lineage and doesn’t have the answers to give her own children regarding their heritage because her mother (who didn’t speak very motherly) is too ashamed to confront her past to help her daughter. Kudos to the guest for wanting to know. Disappointed in Trisha for trying to muzzle her and not hold the mother accountable! 🤬

My ex-husband tries that and when we went to court I had enough against him he was granted only supervised visits at a center, needless to say he never once tried to have a visit. Our son is 20 now he's met him and he despises him for how he was treated by his sperm donor. He calls my fiance dad because he's the one who acts like a dad. My ex husband made a comment that hurt my son so bad by saying he didn't make sick kids cause my son was born deaf. As a mom I wish things was different so my son could know both sides of his family but he says he does know both sides because my fiance and his family adore my son
So true. It's like, why wasn't they there for the child they're trying to claim, until they know for sure whether or not they are the father?

In my opinion your son is special and a gift sent straight from God my Aunt was Deaf but she was 21 pregnant and just walking down a street when a man who she didn't know and he didn't know her shit her boy friend in the shoulder and my Aunt in her face and killed my Aunt because his word in open court not mine because she was white and he was mad at a white guy for taking his girlfriend and my Aunt was the most kind hearted loving giving and sweetest person ever all the people who are deaf that I know have just something special about them that you can't help but to love them and I'm sorry but they know a person inside and out because they can't hear them go by the things they see and there 9 times out of 10 always right.. I'm so glad your son has your husband now because the sperm donor doesn't deserve the love from your son your son is too pure of a person to even be associated with that sperm donor..
@michellevanguilder4606 I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to your aunt. She sounded like she was a true angel. The struggles they face and obstacles they overcome is way more then most. And they are so special. My son now helps other kids who studder like he did because of his hearing,he tells them the same thing I told him that it's his super power,no everyone studders or has trouble hearing only GODS special ones have that super power. To see him now tell kids that is absolutely beautiful and he doesn't look at it like a burden he looks at it like his unique quality. Sending my prayers and love your way, maybe your aunt is my sons angel❤️
trisha dead wrong on the second story. sierra had every right to be angry and her consoling the mother rather than consoling sierra is wild to me. i could feel her pain through the screen and just like she had her entire childhood, her feelings were completely invalidated.

I think Trisha was trying to be realistic with Sierra. That mother needs to let her daughter feel what she's feeling whether shes likes it or not. The mother is so unaccountable of her actions that she can not or better yet refuses to deal with her or her daughters trauma that she can't even begin to heal.
The mother knows who Sierra's father is. I think she is being spiteful. It looks like she hated her since she came out the womb and wants to make her life a living hell. EVIL af.

I understand that Trisha was saying she's 52 and doesn't know who her dad is. I'm 38 and I don't know who my father is. However, it doesn't have to define your life and that young lady needs to just focus on her own life and kids. She needs to be the best mother she can be because she had the WORST role model EVER!!!

This happened to me. My mom told me, up until I was about 11, that my little sister and I shared a father. My mom’s friend told me the name of my real father and introduced me to an older sister and another sister who was also older then me. My bio father was killed when I was 8. He was 27 when I was born and my mom 15. That’s right, statutory rape. I met my older first cousin in College. I just let it all go after my mom died in 2014. I miss her and let go of the anger. She never sought support for me from him or social security after he died. I heard I have a gang of siblings but I only know one now. It’s painful but the older I get the more I let it go.

I really feel sorry for Ciara and Nathaniel. So Nathaniel is not the father and now we need to figure out who her mother is. I don't believe that's really her mother. Maybe that's why they could never connect. She looks nothing like that woman. We need a maternity test
