Another one is: DO WHAT YOU SAID and do it in an agreed time frame, well.
By doing this you will gain trust of your coworkers, partners. You don´t even have to be the best in your field, but even by doing this ONE thing, you will have much success. People will like to work with you, because they are able to depend and count on you. You will gain respect.

I did something like that in my new job for 6 months or so. I had choice to change the job immediately or start trying to clean stuff up. I really raised the quality, but I've never been appreciated even we have been doubling revenue every year. Now I'm leaving on time.

    Antonio,
I'm not sure if this is a military trait or not, but from a young age my father had always taught me to always take initiative. He went on to explain that good enough isn't good enough. It was a lesson in integrity, and I hold myself to that standard today. If I can give more, it is dishonest and disrespectful not to give more.

Antonio sir, I am 18 years old I will be entering the business world soon enough. My question to you is, I see how respectful you are and just the completely professional way you handle yourself; and you see with my generation I feel we have lost a lot of the skills needed in the business world. What pieces of advice do you have for young men who will be entering the business world?

This all comes down to positive or negative conditioning when young and thank god your doing it right. There are 2 types of people when working for a company, number 1 ( in the UK anyway ) is the I don’t care dude, he will say I don't give a dame about the company, they don’t care about me, Im just getting my wage and making them rich at my time here, screw em. Number 2, ok I have started at the bottom, but trust me, I will be so productive and even go beyond my job to get new contracts and look for better ways of doing things, that one day I will be CEO. Just make sure your number 2. But again comes down to conditioning and people you hang with.

hey Antonio, i didn't know how to ask you by any other means then this. but i couldn't find information about the period of time, for the payment for your *a mans guide to style* course, the question in which i'm asking is if the 97$ is a monthly pay or once in a life time pay. again i know this isn't really the place to ask, but it was the best way i could think of to get in contact with you :)

hello i'm also think like you and your 100% right .
i have always do more than expected in my company and i always do it the professional way.
now the company is a family business and i'm not one of the family and there's the problem.
i work straight with the head manager and he do see all that i have done to the company.
the last 2 years i haven't seen any reward or any kind of promotion .
and when i came to him and asked him nicely for a promotion with 2 year results of my work for the company he started to make excuses and trying to gain any reason why not to .
i don't know if he just don't want me to be promoted because he expected that from a family member and not from me .
    that's the feeling that i got .
now i really don't care why he don't want to
i probably should move to another company.
the point is what do you think about companies that hold you back from going further ?

Does go extra miles means more work? In context of working in my company, does it mean i need to accept more works from my boss?
How to differentiate do extra miles and working hard/smart?

    • @elcapitan6126
      @elcapitan6126 13 дней назад

@wan9412 I doubt they mean do it for a boss (unless this translates practically into increased personal income). it's rather about putting your all into what you do to build your life, for that purpose (work might be a part of that but really depends). I wouldn't burn myself out for a paycheck but if its a personal goal or project I'll double down on it to get somewhere.

Touching upon your anecdote with giving $5 to your child...Not sure which book I read this in, but the author actually talks about how her daughter always made her bed, even when not told or asked to. She complimented her from then, but then when she stopped complimenting the daughter's behavior, the daughter became bitter and eventually stopped making her bed. Basically the rewared had turned an internally motivated activity into an externally motivated activity. I thought that was an interesting point to consider as parents, bosses, and leaders.
