There a few points about Wings and Balloons specifically that you forgot to mention; their internal durability is only drained while they're generating lift. For Wings, this is when the Wing is generating air lift from the front (when the Wing is not grounded or FULLY submerged and it's nose is facing anywhere between +/-90 degrees). This means that a Wing contraption moving backwards (or being fully underwater) will last indefinitely assuming you can somehow engineer around the horrible aerodynamics. Alternatively, using a ton of fans, really strong fans snuggled out of shrines, or rockets can pause the lift time during flight assuming you have the battery to support long duration flight. For Balloons, they only generate lift when a heat source is being used, and durability is drained at the same rate regardless of lift intensity (from weakest to strongest lift: fire, then oil/pinecone fire, then Flame Emitter). What this means if that you can create a build with multiple Balloons, but only have one lit at a time to essentially create a segmented rocket with Baloons.
This makes sense! I was referring to their lifespan when they are actually "used" which would mean gliding for wings or heat activated balloons (I didn't clarify so thank you) Your advice with multiple balloons is actually really smart though, I appreciate it! I know balloons also make things fall slower while unactive too but I rarely find a use for this
Hello Croton! I've been playing Tears of the Kingdom with you for the second time, doing a 100% playthrough. It's nice to see you taking in every detail. Zonai Devices are my favorite new addition in the game, besides maybe the abilities, because of how much creativity it allows. It makes everyone's playthrough different, like Breath of the Wild! Keep up the great work, sorry if I talked for too long 😅
I remember finding the Zonai bombs for the first time in the Depths. I didn't know what they were, so I hit one to activate it and stood near it to see what it did. I was not happy to have stumbled upon Zonai bombs randomly, instead of being introduced to them in a shrine.
I found your videos on BotW a few years ago, glad to see you are doing the same informative videos on TotK! Thanks a lot! I need to invest in Boomerangs I realized ;)
7:02 Also small Zonai charges can be used to temporarily boost your battery past it's max. Like foods can do for your stamina and health. Giving you extended yellow battery indicators.
How about the stats for vehicles in regards to running over enemies? Such as speeds you need to move at, and how different materials affect damage output?
I found that Zonai parts do such low damage that it was never worth the time and frustration of collecting and setting them up. Wish this was something that you could buff somehow.
You can do a follow up video with intelligent and efficient zonai builds. with do's and dont's of zonai builds. Likke the 60 cannon balls broadsword. I wasted a lot shields with shield fusions (even with zonai shields) which dampended the shieldfusing experiments.
there is a battery usage discount applied whenever your build uses big and small wheels in tandem its the reason why my racing build (B-1 OffRoadster, video on channel) has such great battery efficiency, I can get pretty much fully across the map, from the outskirt stable to tarrey town easily, on a single fully upgraded battery meter
Okay, Croton I have a good idea for a new challange run. A passifist run. You can not kill anything (except Ganon). All you can use you have to buy or find in the wild. Need meat? You must find it, cant kill an animal. Need more weapons, and see a silver moblin, too bad NO killing. The same goes for insects, salamanders, and fairies.
Yeah, but even a really powerful laser only affects a tiny region at any given time. An enemy with a narrow hole burnt partway through its arm is still quite capable of combat.
I didn't hear you mention how the devices have their own durability separate from their fused shield. This is probably only relevant on the hylian shield, but devices break first after a while.
Most last for 30 minutes. Small wheel Big wheel Canon Flame Emitter Frost Emitter Shock Emitter Beam Emitter Hydrant Construct Head Fan Light Homing Cart Hover Stone (Small) Stabilizer These are all the ones I know Besides Canon lasting 20 shots, on Mineru, they last for 67 seconds.
I'll make a more streamlined video on it in the future, but the first and third vids in my Stats of the Wild playlist cover a lot about this! ruclips.net/video/UKq7y_rNEmI/видео.html
Why do enemies deal way less Gloom damage in the depths than their normal counterparts on the surface? Why does Gloom damage seemingly ignore defense until you have a lot of defense? How is damage calculated for weapons attached to moving objects like homing carts? Why doesn't the Lightning Helm protect you from Thunder Gleeoks? Why does Mineru break ore deposits in one hit even though it only deals 27 damage?
Is it worth mixing small & large wheels in builds? Let's say I want to have improved climbing ability with large wheels on the front & small wheels on the back of a Zonaimobile. Would the speed/torque of that vehicle fall somewhere in between a build with 4 large wheels & a build with 4 small wheels?
Croton, do you remember a few years ago there was that guy who gave you like dozens of 100$ donations? I forgot the name. I was just wondering because I was scrolling through all you past streams and was reminded of it.
Let me know of any miscellaneous stat questions you all have for a future episode!! Thanks for watching

How much stronger are the gloom covered monsters in the Depths compared to their surface counterparts?
@@Joe-ik1ph- They're just spicy.
I'd love to know how the boss scaling works in this game compared to botw since the bosses are so different in this one!
How often do constructs respawn

Zonai devices really help the game stand out! So much replay potential in just building things haha - glad you enjoy!! 😁
You know its gonna ba a good year when Croton uploads stats of the kingdom on your birthday
Happy birthday! 🥳
Happy late birthday
Glad to know I was not the only one who knew about the zonai device no durability loss boomerang trick
I must thank you for making videos, you always explain things so clear, and your challenge runs are very entertaining!
I'm happy you enjoy! Thank you
4:27 had no idea that was one of the ways to solve that big gap! i always did some strange workaround that took forever...
These are the highest quality Zelda videos on the internet
This will be really helpful for when I delve into testing out wacky inventions! Thanks haha
I keep meaning to get back to TOTK, but I will always tune into your videos for information about the game mechanics.
I remember finding the Zonai bombs for the first time in the Depths. I didn't know what they were, so I hit one to activate it and stood near it to see what it did.
I was not happy to have stumbled upon Zonai bombs randomly, instead of being introduced to them in a shrine.
I have played well over 1000 hours of totk, which is my favourite game. I am learning all new things in your videos.
Hey I’ve got a neat idea for a challenge run. I was thinking only champion weapons.
I found your videos on BotW a few years ago, glad to see you are doing the same informative videos on TotK! Thanks a lot! I need to invest in Boomerangs I realized ;)
You're my favorite Zelda RUclipsr
Yeah, love these vids croton❤ The more stats of the kingdom, the better!
It is also worth mentioning that attaching a Crafter Construct (Mineru)'s head to a wing extends it's life by quite a few seconds.
Wow! I didn't know the boomerang was so efficient.
It's also cool too see how far the Zonaite Bow can travel. I had no idea!
Erhm what the bread?
7:02 Also small Zonai charges can be used to temporarily boost your battery past it's max. Like foods can do for your stamina and health. Giving you extended yellow battery indicators.
Thank you so much this was so interesting and helpful 🎉

YESSIR ALWAYS A GOOD DAY WHEN CROTON POSTS 🗣️🗣️🗣️💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥
Fascinating stuff! I love it. TY!
Thanks for all your time and effort❤.
Yes of course the frost emitter boomerang is an essential part of any TotK arsenal!
Stats are BACK!
You can do a follow up video with intelligent and efficient zonai builds. with do's and dont's of zonai builds. Likke the 60 cannon balls broadsword. I wasted a lot shields with shield fusions (even with zonai shields) which dampended the shieldfusing experiments.
Great as always.
Hi Croton I love your videos!
there is a battery usage discount applied whenever your build uses big and small wheels in tandem
its the reason why my racing build (B-1 OffRoadster, video on channel) has such great battery efficiency, I can get pretty much fully across the map, from the outskirt stable to tarrey town easily, on a single fully upgraded battery meter
this makes me want to see a “beating totk with only zonai parts”
I did not know that wheels increased shockwave radius!!
Cannons only deal 12 damage? No wonder they suck so much
Let’s say I make a car with lock on lasers and I rebuild it using Zonaite. Will the wheels and lasers disappear after 30 minutes of use?
I knew the kirby planet robobot music in a heartbeat. Challenge run when? Or are you streaming them?
Hey uhhhh the music link goes towards the wrong video…
You’re my thirteenth favorite Zelda RUclipsr.😊
Ouch, that's about how many there are
😂😂😁
lol what

I've always wondered about mirrors on shields. Do they drain durability? It really feels like they do
They do not! I've had the same mirror shield in my playthrough since the start, just gotta make sure enemies aren't hitting it!
You really think the Beam Emmiter would deal more damage. It's a laser, for Hylia's sake!
Yeah, but even a really powerful laser only affects a tiny region at any given time. An enemy with a narrow hole burnt partway through its arm is still quite capable of combat.
You should do a can you beat tears of the kingdom with only yiga clan stuff including armor and ima weapons and earthquake technique❤😊
Please tell me you collected the star pieces in those clips
I didn't hear you mention how the devices have their own durability separate from their fused shield. This is probably only relevant on the hylian shield, but devices break first after a while.
good upload, good day
When are you making the zonai streams a video?
oh boy another croton upload :)
Most last for 30 minutes.
Small wheel
Big wheel
Canon
Flame Emitter
Frost Emitter
Shock Emitter
Beam Emitter
Hydrant
Construct Head
Fan
Light
Homing Cart
Hover Stone (Small)
Stabilizer
These are all the ones I know
Besides Canon lasting 20 shots, on Mineru, they last for 67 seconds.
Hey croton! When’s the Next challenge run?
I wonder, are you interested in doing the Bone Only Challenge in TOTK too?
Eventually we will do them all!! this would be a great halloween themed vid tho 🎃
hey croton this is completely unrelated but have you ever made a how to video?
Yo croton i saw you on fun adventures video
Can do a lizalfos run but you upgrade your armor and weapons every 50 lizalfos killed.
You should do a pre calamity run in botw where you get full hearts the master sword the hylian shield and the swallow bow
I still await the day someone figures out how shield durability increases and decreases
I'll make a more streamlined video on it in the future, but the first and third vids in my Stats of the Wild playlist cover a lot about this!
ruclips.net/video/UKq7y_rNEmI/видео.html

You need to do a boto run like u promised me 2 years ago. I was MANTIS btw

Do a master sword challenge only please Croton😊
You should play tears of the kingdom with breath of the wild runes and breath of the wild with tears of the kingdom runes.
is this ur last vid?😢
Today’s my birthday which I am 15 years old I want to say happy birthday to me
