  • Hands up if you deal with acne scars 🙋🏻‍♀️

Whether you have Post-Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) or atrophic scars the truth is that - there's no one miracle ingredient that will completely get rid of acne scars.

Scars are essentially inflamed blemishes caused by pores with excess oil, dead skin cells, and bacteria. As the blemish starts to heal itself, it develops a red, pink, tan, or brown discoloration in the area.

To treat this, you need ingredients that promote skin healing, reduce the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and diminish scar texture aka - 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 - a clinically proven, revolutionary formula that minimizes the look of post-acne scar size, depth, AND discoloration in 8 weeks.

    INGREDIENTS
🍃 Powerful healing properties of Centella Asiatica supports healthier-looking skin
🍊 Vitamin C reduces the appearance of post-acne dark spots
⚡ Salicylic acid exfoliates to diminish scar texture
✨ Plus, the velvety-smooth formula instantly fills and blurs imperfections to IMMEDIATELY reduce the appearance of scars and uneven surfaces.

Usually when people talk about acne scars they are referring to those craters in your face that are left behind after some severe acne episodes. If you have those then use Panthenol and Allantoin scar gel. It worked for me.

Just thought I’d let everyone know these are not acne “scars” they’re pigmentation, scars are usually indented and there’s two kinds of pigmentation, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is usually purple/dark brown in color and post inflammatory erythema, which are the light pink/bright red marks. Figuring out which one exactly you have is what’s going to help you tackle those pigmentation spots

Thanks for this! I mostly experience those light pink to red marks called post inflammatory erythema (P.I.E). Which is the type of scarring on the video, I believe. ✅ Cause I definitely have those leftover on my chin & it’s thankfully flattened in texture, looks like clearer skin but I’m aware up-close that I do have scar-marks.* Just a new topical solution to apply into my skincare regime, thank you for this!
What would brown pores be called too? As a form of scarring like post inflammatory hyperpigmentation or would those be like blackheads? [Update: I searched for anyone else interested haha sebaceous filaments : yes : I’m always interested in correcting these but I understand they’re just natural pores basically]. Feels flattened in texture thankfully, just another up close notice (from very long ago past & recovered skin blemishes). ❤❤❤ *My skin basically cleared up & I see how my skin really is haha. I’d simply pick this solution up for the minimal red marks that were left!

    • @StephanieRZ
      @StephanieRZ 7 месяцев назад

@@user-pl2oj9xi9l Aw hey, I honestly feel I struggle with it. It's genuinely not so problematic, or noticeable I feel (it's like having stretch marks in example; it's natural)… I can wear moisturizer and/or tinted sunscreen, and it's there but it's not really a problem for me anymore thankfully. I lost caring. Cause it's smooth, and more clearer thankfully. - Though, I do feel exfoliating (1-2x weekly Or as needed preferably: even just regular gentle cleansing*: I use Aveeno's Calm + Restore cleanser), Vitamin C, moisturizing, helps.
I've done about two facials before too, and those actually did help my scarring. Yet I don't recommend facials actually lol it roughened and dried out my skin the following days after.
Just simple spot treatments, or skincare is what may help treat it. It'll go away gradually. :) Do your best & forget the rest.

Yes, but it takes time. Get a prescription tretinoin cream if possible, it's way more potent and results will be quicker.

    • @nightmaresandbutterflies1058

Be careful with retinoids ,or adaplene n tretinoin..it eorks..but u have to startslow, pea sized amount over wholeface, every three days in starting..and get in lowest percentage..also plase kniw thatur skin might flare up really bad at the start.

If you don t even know what the word scar means just stop giving advice and false informations about it
What you re mentioning is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation not scars ;scars are lesions caused by inflammation ;loss of volume and fibrosis ...for god sake stop talking about acne scars as something that is very easy to treat
