Air Fryer Game Hen and Pear Tart

- On the 1st day of Christmas my true love gave to me...a partridge in a pear tree

Ingredients
2 game hens
1 sheet puff pastry
6 oz goat cheese
Fresh rosemary, Chopped finely
1 tsp each
Salt, pepper, smoke paprika, onion powder and garlic powder
1 egg, beaten
1 pear, cut out circles, remove core
Olive oil
Run the hen under cold water and dry really well with paper towels
Rub with olive oil
Season with your seasonings
Place a sprig of rosemary in the cavity
Air fry 350°F/180°C for 30-40 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F/74°C
Remove and cover with foil to let it rest while we make the tart
Gently roll out the puff pastry and cut out squares, big enough to extend pass the sliced pear about 1 inch
Cut a slit into the pastry on all 4 corners
Mix the goat cheese and the fresh rosemary
Spread on the pastry squares, just in the center
Top with your pear slices
Fold the corners over the pear
Brush with your beaten egg
Air fry 350°F/180°C for 15 minutes until golden brown
Enjoy!!!

I'm doing some Annie's binge watching to catch up on your videos. Cornish game hens are so good and reminds me of my Dad when I was little. He loved him some hens. Tart looks excellent as well and you mentioned the apple one that I know would be my favorite. Great job
