its not always about landing the jump. its the quality of the jump. Also her style is very unique. shes powerful and creative, which could also have something to do with it. everything she does is strong, even when she makes a mistake.

Other skaters can execute a lutz perfectly under pressure. Sasha's not a jumper. She does not take off from an outside edge. It's just fact. Look at her feet; she never maintains the edge. Sasha's good with spirals and spins. Anybody who knows her skating knows that she's not a strong jumper. It's just the facts, no rudeness intended.

I think when she actually does the lutz correctly, she ends up falling on it. Lutz is not a jump in her arsenal...she's all flutz baby.

Dick Button is not a fan of Sasha's foot turn at the end of her spiral sequence, I have heard him mention how dangerous the move is more than once. I've seen Shasha have an unfortunate fall or two, but not once have I seen her have the slightest bit of trouble with that so-called "dangerous," move.
That being said, I think Sasha is the greatest thing in ice skating since Dick Button. I'm a big fan of both.
