I meant mine makes noise because it needs repair but still going strong. It's been used daily for the time I've owned it. I love the old amps, I have a lanzar opti 100.2 and 50.2, eclipse pa34230, crossfire vr705d and a few others. I might look at getting rid of some of them soon
If it is making high pitched like whine/buzz, it was very common on these golden era amps.. when i first bought mine in 2014, it also had the buzz/whine. I fix it by taking the cover off the bottom and applying a good coat of clear silicon all over the coil. That was 10 yrs ago this coming July with not one sound since, and it has NEVER ran hot/any issues since.

Your videos bring me back to when I was 19-20. I had a 451s running the fanatic 6.5 components. A BD500 running 3 of the base line RF 10s.
Last week I found out that the 451s is also a great amp - check the dyno video 😁✌️

The bd1000.1 looks like this amp but is different technology, it’s a switching amp not class ab

When I repair the old fosgate amps the bias always is out of adjustment by a good bit.
