As someone who is much older, I wish I would have taken this advice in my younger years. Our kids are grown and we prefer to stay home and enjoy the moment. The holidays can be so stressful and you are on the right track. Blessings and Happy Thanksgiving
I am very much in need a prayers… I lost my mom in January at 62 years young and this is my first holiday without her 😞 she caught a disease that took her fast. Thank you.
@@whitneyhoffman5749 I am so incredibly sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet mother. My heart is hurting for you Whitney. You have every reason to not be anticipating this upcoming season, for as Ecclesiastes 3:4 says, “For everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven….a time to cry and a time to laugh, a time to grieve and a time to dance.” My hope and prayer for you Whitney is that you will embrace the season that you’re in, feel and grieve however you need to and one day find peace and healing where you’ll laugh and dance again. For the Lord is near to the brokenhearted; He rescues those whose spirits are crushed (Psalm 34:18) Thank you so much for asking for prayer, I’m honored to pray for you and will continue to do so. As Galatians 6:2 states we are to share each other’s burdens. Dear Heavenly Father, I’d like to lift Whitney up to you today, she’s sorrowful over the loss of her sweet mama and unsure why You chose to take her Home sooner than anticipated. Please be near to Whitney, let her feel your peace and comfort and send loved ones around her to encourage and lift her up. Thank you Lord for giving us another day on earth and the opportunity for community and lifting one another up. We never walk alone, and that is the greatest joy. Amen
