    Always interested in club reviews. Looking to change mine in the near future. Had a PXG iron fitting last week, must admit impressed albeit with one comment comparing iron distance not the sell given the different lofts but dispersion is the key!

    I see this series as the perfect 3-way combo set. 9&8 in the MB, 7 and 6 in the CB, 5 & 4 in the Pro. I'm excited to try these out and see if my theory holds - I want the utmost confidence in my set makeup - I hope this is it!!!

    Nice review, Dan. Callaway makes some interesting clubs, they just put too many out annually. They remind me of TaylorMade, too many too frequently. Tech doesn’t change that much each year. They and a couple of the others need to slow down putting out new models. Cheers.

    Great review Dan. I combo 525's and 230's and based on this, think the Pro's and CB' would work well for me

    Nice looking and sounding irons. Lots of really nice choices this year from the various manufacturers. My son is having a close look at these offerings from Callaway for a replacement in the coming year.
    Crazy how expensive irons have become the last few years. All clubs really.

    Nice irons, the sole reminds me of the Srixon V.T. sole for better turf interaction. Love my Srixon irons but always interested with what's on/coming to the market.

    Hi Dan. Love the reviews but it would be really good to get the standard lofts on irons tested. It would provide a reference to what I'm playing now.

    Never really tried callaway irons or woods had that square sort of driver they had out some years ago but never got on with that one.
    I do think it’s really down to preference now day as there all coming up very similar through out the brands and I’m not really sure that any of the manufacturers can do much more unless one of them comes out with clubs that hit the ball for you lol

    Good review. Callaway’s own marketing seems to suggest all three are for “elite” ball strikers only. I think this is going to put quite a few mid handicappers off the Pro model when it might fit some people well.
    To be honest I’m a bit baffled by the number of manufacturers producing lots of models 75% of which are aimed solely at 20% of the market. What’s worse is the models aimed at mid handicappers are often classless and ugly. Is it any wonder P790 has this market sewn up?!

    Too bad these aren’t for mid handicap, this is one reason I’m quitting golf, big ugly game improvement clubs aren’t for me, everything nice looking is geared towards low handicap players.Every time I go testing clubs it’s the first thing I hear from sales people, “that club isn’t for you” I just turn around and walk out of the store.

    It’s a shame that such a small demographic of golfers use MB irons. So many more golfers would benefit from learning to strike the centre of the club face and learn about trajectory control 🤷‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

      Are you serious? Have you seen how most golfers play? A lot of pga tour pros are moving away from those types of clubs, and you want average golfers to play them…c’mon man

    • @craig3775
      @craig3775 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@JK-cu7mh This is only my opinion from experience. You mention tour pros, they play for money so it’s a different game they play. Amateurs would improve from playing with bladed irons as I experienced in the 1970s and 1980s when bladed irons were all there were. The quality of player was better back then. Taking the easy option these days doesn’t mean improvements, if it means more enjoyment then play whatever you like. Just my opinion friend
