Hey Matt, miss you on TXG. I'm gonna support you however I can. Can I give some constructive feedback as a fan? I really like hearing you talk about the feel of the club while you're hitting it, instead of after. I would prefer that instead of the music and voice over you talk to us about your experience while having the experience. And then go over the numbers and comparisons, etc after. Just my 2 cents. As soon as the funds start coming in, need some better lighting and camera too but you'll get there. You're doing great man! Swing looks sweet!
This may be the best review of a single iron ever. I like how you chose to talk after and sprinkle commentary while hitting. Unique and dare I say cool. Seems like an excellent iron that could fit a good segment of golfers.
your skill is phenomenal. the format is so perfect with the occasional voiceover. i love everything about this video. i like the direction callaway is going with these hollow body clubs to make them look more like the forged ones. in particular P770 being the contender with Apex Pro 2024...the former looks great from the back but a little chunky from the top line and heel.
Matt, I don’t know where I’ve been and what’s took me so long to follow you on the tube! But a lefty who has ability, knowhow and seem a cool person is and will keep me viewing over the coming winter months and beyond 👏🏾👍🏾

I would love to see Larry as maybe a co host on some review videos. I think he’ll have a different view point than a lot of people some he is such a great teacher
Love the video's Matt. I also love the view of the ballflight, it's easier to see what the ball and height is really doing when the camera stays where you are. Those Callaway's might be something I look at to replace my Pro 21's
I've used the Callaway apex cf 16's for a couple of years. Best irons I ever played. Switched to P770, later to T100s, but these never felt like my CF16s. Perhaps due to the fact you can only get ProjectX LZ 6.5 105gr shafts on Callaway irons (seems it's a Callaway 'special'). Might give these apex pro's a try!
Great review, looks like one heck of a club. Just a heads up, you mixed the volume on this one really low. Only mention it because of how competitive RUclips golf is these days, and I want your channel to thrive.
These have been what I’ve been looking for over the last 3 years. I’m a 7.9 and I’ve been wanting forgiveness without the extra juice. Why don’t more brands have a club like this?
Well, move down to a players distance iron like 790 and its 29 deg, move to a game improvement iron and its 26.5-7 deg. It's all relative but nowadays 33 deg 7i is not at all strong in the grand scheme of things.
@@T-LEHyeah, when I started a year and a half ago my cobra speedzone were 26.5 deg for a 7i. Once I learned to hit a ball well, I didn't find much use in a 200+ yard 7i so I went to something more conventionally lofted haha
I played these irons around 5 or so years ago. Always had good experience with them. I don't recall that much offset though compared to the 7-iron you're hitting here Matt. Maybe it's the camera angle. Loving the format here. Cheers!
You know what might be interesting is at the end of your next video hit some more to see if it’s just a good day? Always wondered if a review is just good for the day? Often hear people after a fitting not excited as when they where fitted?
Nice… I’m a single digit. Hit it bout 10 times on sim at dicks… wasn’t few steps off line on all. Was crazy accurate. Have t300s now. These are more accurate. Much more
Thanks Matt, I read a comment about the TCBs , is Callaway continuing with that model ? with I believe the whole apex line they have the category sets looking very similar with the tungsten wieght, looking at the 24 pro fast you'd could say it's the old TCBs, idk love to see something different , more blade like, Mizuno pro line there blade is always very similar to the players distance iron, idk just like to see a little more thought put into the look part of the design, no biggie , great review for your game and Callaways tech, I wasn't looking to close at Sm Factor, I'm sure it was right on the money, Thanks again!

I remember you being quite impressed with the prior iteration of the Apex Pro irons. Seems like this generation is working well for you.
Best category of iron imo. Tech for consistency not silly loft jacked power.

Both very good, T150 more traditional looks and feel, one degree stronger on the 7 iron

How many greens on average would you say you hit with your usual 7 iron?
Simulation 9/10 on course 6/10

How is the turf interaction? Pre worn leading edge and some trailing edge relief?
Yes the sole has some nice shaping to it, I found it pretty nice through the strike

Thoughts on Apex Pro vs ZX4/ZX5 Mk II?
Apex Pro has more traditional lofts than ZX4/5, someone looking to hit it longer/less spin might go that route instead
