Can we just take a moment to appreciate how good your swing is looking these days? From your return to the TXG channel to now, you’re a different player entirely
I think not ONLY his swing changed but facing the gravity of been on your own no parachute his helping a lot to focus on your best attributes. When I was at ( the place on Scarsdale ) for one fitting fall 2022 it smelled closing time at the bar…and I watched him practicing alone no great talks amount the staff.
Matt swing looks awesome man! Wish we could have seen you hit the paradym triple diamond next to it. Maybe the body was just feeling good on this day! Those days are nice. Beastin!
I actually love the look. It will hide scuffs and scratches better, and i look at my driver head-down on the tee box anyways. Otherwise it sits in a headcover and i can't see the sole anyways. I like it. If companies are scared to try new things, we'll never get new things. I approve of this one.
great video, love the unique calm feel and vibe of the video with all the elevated cinematography stuff you always bring to the table.. seeing those driver speeds I've just now realised I need to go catch up on your swing videos
This channel gives me the vibe of a Top Gear vehicle review from their heyday. Love the reviews, and am glad I can see you swinging the newest equipment in your own studio!
Beautiful swing and power! A joy to watch, cannot wait to see the standard Paradym with the track weight move back-and-forth to see how effective it is in the distance numbers that someone like you will be able to get even out of a head like that. Great channel!
Hey Matt, love what you do. An easy fix for some sound issues with the space is some simple EQ'ing. Can remove a hum in the background pretty easily, and usually cheaper than adding some acoustic treatment to the space.
I just did a fitting and I was impressed with the spin consistency across the face. Very tight spin windows that ranged from 2200-2600. Sound and feel are great too.
Matty hitting BOMBS with this year's batch of new Drivers, what's not to love👍👍 Although these days I'm an ex-golfer it's still a great watch PS Hope everything is going well Matt👍👍
Great review MATTY, The only way I would change my driver is if enabled me to hit a shorter iron into the green !!!,, Looking forward to your review of the cobra dark speed drivers, it would be incredible if cobra made the LS model @ 430 CC, Hope you and your family have a great New Year
I appreciate you and your channel. Every year the new latest and greatest come out. Every year a new “lighter materials so weight can be shifted” golf club is made. How much better is this vs an old sub zero? Spin rates and ball speed really that much different? I would like to see the last decade of low spinners against each other. I think a new driver every year is too much.
Love your modest and thoughtful presentations, you seem a genuinely nice person.. I’d like to have you do an in-depth review of the smoke triple Diamond driver, like in what happens to spin/launch data when swapping the weights, and and the exchange lead to better robustness and forgiveness.. does custom weights exist..? So the difference could be further explored..?
Based on the 138 mph 7i in your drills video, I think these 180s are much more about you than the Ai smoke. Would be nice to see a h2h with the paradym td to be sure. Most other reviews are finding a fast driver. But nothing earth shattering. Maybe 1/2 to 1 mph faster on off center hits.
Dang, I was hoping the lighter grey color was more due to the black and white photos from the leaked images, but otherwise I'm excited for this driver. I'd love to see how it compares to the previous triple diamond.
Smash factor is around 1.45 which is good, but nothing new. So the ball speeds are from your swining it at 127mph! If you pick up your tsr3 or any modern driver, don’t you get similar numbers if you swing it at that speed? Great to see you being at a good place with your swing👍
It’s the added forgiveness that makes all of the difference. Ts3 is not going to be crazy forgiving having 180+ ball speed 1/2” in the toe nor will it be a laser like the one he hit. It would also fall out of the sky like a dead duck. Wouldn’t retain 2000+ spin like this does.
All I’m saying is this is more than marketing hype. This driver is objectively better than its predecessor. It’s exciting to see companies come out with better drivers that aren’t just a facelift from last year. We all know we were expecting paradym in a new black and gray colorway. Titleist has been making real measurable improvements it for years (probably why they release every other year). We will see with tm, cobra, ping or if they went for facelift or actually better, however, this driver sets a a good precedent.
Great review! I know you've alluded to doing something similar but I think there's a niche on RUclips for comparing new products vs the previous generation. I look at all these videos and wonder how much better they are than the previous, discounted generations. Most channels will have the launch reviews, but i havent seen any compare to older drivers yet so there's a gap in the market imo.
Am I seeing correctly that you are swinging out to in 3-5 degrees with a closed face to path? So, that creates a push draw? Thanks, great review and amazing results.
Matt it so Awesome to see your swing so sweet. Please no AutoFlex because you may just show how Good the AutoFlex can be tune for us with a Callaway Driver.
It's always enticing. But be careful when moving away from spin. PING drivers don't miss because their engineers know that spin is control. Callaway drivers have always been very fast, but there's nothing like a PING driver (this comes from someone who used to have two PING drivers and uses Callaway currently)
Matt, do you think Callaway have messed up not putting a sliding weight or 2 smaller weights like the PXG heads from a fitting point of view on the TD, I much prefer being able to move some weight toe/heel aswell as front/back?
Just for me the sole plate looks good but looks is diffrent for every person. But great speed overall. I haven't played for many years but will take up the game again. Any good advice to get ur swingspeed back. Any workout or any swingspeed training who you can recommend. Before I was just turn the body and hip and had a good speed or an ok speed. But would want a better speed. Appreciate any to gain spees🚀
Awesome 👏. How does this compare to TSR3 ? I just upgraded from TSR2 to the 3 last September and I really don’t want to get into another new driver ! 😂

There’s just something about watching Matt Blois smashing a new driver that puts a smile on the face. 😁Great honest review!
it's refreshing to see a driver review from someone who can actually hit a driver.
Awesome to see you putting up reviews right up there with the big youtubers! Hope you and yours have a big 2024 Matt
Great job Matty. Can’t wait to see your reviews of all the new drivers this year!

I appreciate all the subtle editing touches in the video
Love your set up Matt!!!! Keep on doing your thing, we all love it
I love this time of the year. Not only do I get to see new drivers, I get to see Matt absolutely killing them. Wow! Great vid.😊
Loving the content and the sit down and chat perspective! That new driver looks awesome!!!
Great review Matt! Miss seeing you with your old buddy Ian. Love what you’re doing!
You’re the man Matt. Your channel is my favorite and great review of this driver. Your club head speed and distance is off the chart bro 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
Beautiful swing and power! A joy to watch, cannot wait to see the standard Paradym with the track weight move back-and-forth to see how effective it is in the distance numbers that someone like you will be able to get even out of a head like that. Great channel!
If I were you Matt, I'd hang on to that exact setup. Don't even change the shaft. You were smoking that thing!
Smokin’ the Smoke, in fact.
Can’t tell what shaft that is?
@@fredgarvin4252 Project X Denali
@@fredgarvin4252 It's the new Project X Denali.
Hey Matt, love what you do. An easy fix for some sound issues with the space is some simple EQ'ing. Can remove a hum in the background pretty easily, and usually cheaper than adding some acoustic treatment to the space.
Very impressive session. Serious serious speed while staying in control.
Well I stumbled on your new channel by accident and I'm hooked immediately. Great review!
I just did a fitting and I was impressed with the spin consistency across the face. Very tight spin windows that ranged from 2200-2600. Sound and feel are great too.
Those numbers are insane! Thanks for the review!
Nice job Matt. Love this review. Swing looks great. Callaway is making some good kit the last few years. This seems like another winner!
Yes!!! Finally a driver for us chronic toe strikers. Great video and I’m giving that a strong look for my bag this year.
Toe strikes are doing my head in, just never stops, better off playing a putter off the tee.🙃🤙
It’s going to be a hit with chronic fans that missed out on the G420 😂
i mean.... these are turning into documentary quality videos. not like one or 2 of them, but all!
Great stuff.
Couple of others have mentioned but your swing is looking 👌 🔥
I have that driver and shaft in 8 degree , played really well with it yesterday
Great session, Matt. Thanks for setting the green so far back. It would make me feel bad watching you fly the green on short par 3.
Love seeing a new Matty video !
Matty hitting BOMBS with this year's batch of new Drivers, what's not to love👍👍
Although these days I'm an ex-golfer it's still a great watch
PS Hope everything is going well Matt👍👍
You were starting to get near those crazy AutoFlex numbers. Insane ball striking today.
Great review MATTY, The only way I would change my driver is if enabled me to hit a shorter iron into the green !!!,, Looking forward to your review of the cobra dark speed drivers, it would be incredible if cobra made the LS model @ 430 CC, Hope you and your family have a great New Year
Dunno how many people had the same issue but this video didn't hit my sub box!! You should be on 25k+ imo !
Great review Matt
And just like that, Liberty is my new favourite review channel!
Best golf channel on RUclips
Nice episode @matt, not sure what youve been doing in the off session buddy but that swing is looking fast and tight! 💣💣💣💥
Glad you feel the same, the second I saw the title I questioned if we needed "AI" in a driver.
3:21 I guess the machine learned about that one to 😂 good one Matt
Some serious speed there Mattie boy !!

Impressive demo Matt, you are smoking that driver!
Great video Mattie!!!
I love my TRS4, but this thing is must-try stuff this year!
Matt great job wow ...put that club in the bag !👍💪
Nice review man. So sad I can’t come to see it tomorrow.
Swinging really well Matt. Those numbers are bonkers
Can't wait to see how it does in the driver bracket which you absolutely must do.
That’s a great review Matt. Good constructive comments but geez you swung it great . 👍
My thought exactly about AI. Thank you Matt!
Great vid Matt

Well your surprise reaction I think sold me.
Great review. Think it was funny “don’t like the look” basically wearing a smoke half zip.
So true 🤣
Hope all is well and congrats on the new venture. Happy New Year.
Hitting it wonderfully bud!!
I like the new swing temp💪🏼. Ripping bombs with that driver

Are you from Callaway’s marketing departementet?😅

You should be on the Tour. You have always hit it long. Cheers 🇦🇺👍
Jaw dropping Bombs 💣 Swinging it nice Matt !
Even if you don’t like the sole as much, that crown looks WAY better!! That Triple Diamond is so intriguing
The swing is looking fast!
Would be good to see this new driver vs older Callaway products like Epic, etc.
Hitting bombs Matt! Thanks for your impressions on this word salad driver. Looks like maybe the forgiveness aspect is legit.
Matty is a monster crushing the ball!
Great review! I know you've alluded to doing something similar but I think there's a niche on RUclips for comparing new products vs the previous generation. I look at all these videos and wonder how much better they are than the previous, discounted generations.

Matt, I think Callaway may have been inspired by your quarter zip for the soul plate haha!
Would love to have seen dispersion to. That's a very long and straight driver!
Amen on AI Matty!
Am I seeing correctly that you are swinging out to in 3-5 degrees with a closed face to path? So, that creates a push draw? Thanks, great review and amazing results.
the software doesn't reverse the reading for lefties (it's a system bug) so for me when I swing in-to-out as a left hander it will show out-to-in
“Not nearly as much my style as last years”
Next line:
“That’s murdered”
Variable face thickness which Titleist did a year and a half ago
I want my jailbreak back!!!!!!!It was the biggest invention since sliced bread!!!!!
How does it compare to the TSR3? Will be interesting to see
Matt it so Awesome to see your swing so sweet. Please no AutoFlex because you may just show how Good the AutoFlex can be tune for us with a Callaway Driver.
Magic
Interested to try this. I have a slight toe strike. Have a g430max atm but the idea it could be faster would be amazing

@dsc-nr5zy thanks for the heads up. I would only change if its better. Cheers
God do i hate that name but Matty was hitting some absolute NUKES!
Matt, do you think Callaway have messed up not putting a sliding weight or 2 smaller weights like the PXG heads from a fitting point of view on the TD, I much prefer being able to move some weight toe/heel aswell as front/back?
How do they compare to the Titleist TSR line?
can you do a head to head with the paradym triple diamond driver from last years model
You were crushing those drives! Name isn't great, I'm with you on the A.I being in the name... Paradym Smoke would have been nicer.
Which do you prefer? the Ai Smoke or TSR3?
There is a green sleev that goes down to -2 deg.
Big speed is back yeeeeeeah!
Love the AI comment!
Good speed Matty - how different is this to the Rogue 💎 💎 💎 (it’s currently named “what wind” by my playing partners) 🚀
Any thoughts on the Denali Black as comparable to some other shafts ?
I liked it in my initial test, seems to have a nicer feel than HZRDUS black
That swing is looking NASTY these days. Great video as always MattyBoi
Have seen you really hit it well over the years. But this...Wow..
Focus on a quality turn, good wrist conditions, proper trail arm motion - lots of speed to be had that way and accuracy as well
@@GolfLibertythanks for the feedback. 👍
Awesome 👏. How does this compare to TSR3 ? I just upgraded from TSR2 to the 3 last September and I really don’t want to get into another new driver ! 😂
from what I can tell so far, TSR is just as fast and long
@@GolfLiberty thanks !
which model are u hitting
Nuking balls! Great review and structure of the video
just took mine to the course today for the first time, I actually think it's a cheat code
You are striping that driver!
Good God!!!
Might have to swallow that name! You seem to be impressed with every ball.
I actually like the look and color scheme of this driver over lasts models I didn’t like that gold I prefer a darker smoked out driver
Where’d all the new speed come from Matt!? Swing work, or gym work?
Swing
