    Thank you for the great tutorial. I really liked how you showed two techniques for marking the stitch.

    OH, Thank you, Sara! Since you never SAID anything about it on the tutorial, I assumed it was some thing like that. But, been a few years since I crocheted anything. My sister in law is flying in in a couple of weeks and would like to make a couple of these for her since she is helping us out dogsitting while we are out of town.

      Sorry that confused you, Most of my Written patterns, have the stitch counts in parenthesis at the end of each row/ round.

    I sure hope this is one of the videos you remake on your new camera set up.....I find this very hard to follow....I really want to make this but yeah...I hope seeing it as you see should make this do-able for me. Thanks Sara! I love your channel! Happy New Year!

      I know...I tried that....but I am "pattern challenged"....I wish I could figure out how to read patterns...OH please tell me that is one of your 12 lessons of crocheting basics?!! That would be AWESOME!!! Oh and since you are reading this....can you at some point explain how come some patterns (videos :) say chain one and turn your work and some say turn your work chain one...well for an example I mean...sometimes it is chain 2 ...you get the jist of what I mean. And also some videos I watch on the first row after the chain will say go in the back loop only; why is that? It is so hard to figure out the back loop on a chain stitch. Thanks again Sara...I will try your video on this scrubby again ! :)

    When you do the SC, chain 1, SC. Do you crochet in that chain 1 or do you skip that chain 1.
    Ex: 4 SC's, SC - chain 1 - SC (in the same stitch), 4 SC's, chain 1 & turn. So when that next row starts and you do 5 SC's. And you do the SC - chain 1- SC, 5 SC's. Do I count that chain 1 as a stitch & crochet in it.

    • @SaraSach
      @SaraSach  6 лет назад

      Ch1 at ends of rows, is a turning ch, It does not count as a sc, so you begin stitching in the 1st sc.

    • @69sweetnsassy
      @69sweetnsassy 6 лет назад

      Sara Sach
      IM asking about that chain 1 thats between the 2 SC's that you do in the same stitch. Is that chain 1 counted as a stitch.
      My SC, chain 1, SC starts in that chain 1 in the middle of the row. So I'm doing a SC, chain 1, SC in the chain 1 in between the 2 SC's. I hope that makes sense. Thank u for answering.

    • @SaraSach
      @SaraSach  6 лет назад

      At The point of the bag, in the ch1 sp, you st a "sc, ch1, sc", it is not counted as a st, but you do st a
      "sc, ch1, sc" in the ch1 sp at the point of each row.

      That's exactly what I needed to know. I just wanted to make sure that the SC, chain 1, SC goes in the chain.

    Sara, what do you think of smoothie scrubby yarn, is it the best to use with scrubbie yarn in your opinion?

    • @SaraSach
      @SaraSach  6 лет назад

      Jeanna Mancini I love the cotton smoothie from Red heart it works great for anything made from cotton yarn. Would work great for this project.

    I have a question, I am confused by the () at the end of the row. Example, Row 2, R : 2 - 1 sc in the 1st 4 sc, (sc, ch1, sc) in the next sc,
    1 sc in the last 4 sc, ch1, turn
    (5sc, ch1, 5sc)
    I don't understand the (5sc, ch1, 5sc) which is at the end of each row, except the amounts change, the further you go, then 6, then 7.........can anyone explain this to me? Something tells me I don't HAVE to do it because Sarah doesn't do it in the tutorial. She ch1, then turns and goes to the next row. I just want to make sure, though.....thank you, sorry for the bother!

    • @SaraSach

      The information in the Parenthesis after each row, is you stitch count for each row.

    I have only one problem. I can't see the stitches properly cuz you're facing me instead of looking down behind you. In other words I see the stitching backwards.

    So far you are the only person I see who has the camera facing her. Really makes it awkward to follow.
