I have light colored skin …. I have a hard time finding bronzer …. Thank you for recommending L’Oréal’s Lumi light bronzer…… love it ! The first bronzer that looks good on my soon to be 58 yr old face !😊
I was driving so I missed it! But my husband was in the kitchen and he said all the dishes were rattling in the cabinets. He said it sounded and felt like a loud truck was going by on the street. We just had another one at 6pm but I didn't feel it at all!

These are some great finds. I’ve been really into plum makeup lately. I’d add the Bobbi Brown blush in Velvet Plum, and for lip liners Lawless Pink Slip and Sephora Sink or Suede to this list.
I just got a set of the plumping Buxom lip glosses from T.J.Maxx for 12.99$. I am very excited!!! Have you guys noticed the prices of makeup going up at Sephora??? I remember the Tarte Maracuja Juicy Lip Balms (the renowned ones) being 24$ last year and now they are 26$! I also remember the Clarins oil being 28$ and then 29$ and now 30$!!! What the heck??? The prices are rising in front of our eyes, literally!!! 😮😒🙄
The price gouging is disgusting. Something has to be done to stop it. Some people want to blame it on “inflation” but it’s not inflation….it’s price gouging. Period. These companies have learned nothing is being done to stop them so they keep going higher and higher, with smaller products 🤬
@@EnvyBluThere have been increases in the costs of labor, raw ingredients, packaging, and shipping. The wars in Ukraine and the Middle East have also influenced costs. But I strongly agree that at least part of the increases is price gouging. However, I think the increases have gotten to the point where many people have switched to less expensive options and are considering each purchase more carefully than in the past. I've personally changed some of my skincare from a brand with lower end department store pricing to drugstore products. I'm also on a very low makeup buy, except for replacing mascara every 4 months (necessary for eye health) and replacing other products when I use them up.
I recently purchased a florence by mills blush in the shade rosy Rhona. I have had a lot of success with brand even though I am lot older than the target audience. So far I am enjoying the blush.
I'm so relieved the CG shadow sticks are good! I'd been searching for reviews of them the last few days and there were none, so I went ahead and ordered golden toffee last night not knowing anything yet. Can't wait to use it!

Thanks for reviewing the covergirl eyeshadow sticks! I had been eyeing those and couldn't find anyone else reviewing them. Some of the shades looked really different in real life compared to the Ulta site (especially Dreamy Pink) - so helpful to see the hand swatch and see you try them on your eyes!
The only eyeshadow sticks I like are Laura Mercier and Coulorpop. Their formulas are different, but the only two that don’t make my eye lids cake and crease after an hour. I’m curious about these cover girl sticks though… that ballerina pink color 😍
@@Msdeexoxo I haven’t tried Milani’s eyeshadow stick. I generally don’t do shimmer shades, especially in shadow sticks. I’m going to take a chance on the Covergirl and maybe I’ll branch out to Milani’s 😇 Their color offerings are so nice!

The shade I picked is pretty, but I'm finding it to be "goopy" (only way I can think of to describe it) lol. Think I'll give 1 of the colourpop ones a try.

I had a sample of the Laura Mercier eyeshadow stick and it creased so bad on me, I even used an eyelid primer. I have oily eyelids too. I have to steer clear of the eyeshadow sticks.
Everything looked freshly applied even after 8 hrs. Maybe the Beekman would be a good tinted sunscreen since it is so light. Maybe it will "play well" with a foundation over the top.
I have some shadow sticks but hadn't found myself reaching for them lately. I did however see a video just the other day showing 3 Bobbie Brown ones used together and I really loved the look. I already had 2 of those on my wishlist (transition and darker outer corner) but the one that really peaked my interest was the shimmer for the lid. I ended up going by ulta right after I'd seen the video and the shimmer was as pretty as it looked online. Have worn it a couple times and now I'm excited by sticks again and will be checking out these. ❤
I finished one of those glazed donut Lanolips tubes, to me it smelled and tasted like pancake syrup, both me and my fiance kept craving pancakes whenever I wore it, LOL!
I’m so excited about the new shadow sticks! They are great for a one and done. Which drug store shadow stick do you prefer - the cover girl ones or Milani ones?
So far I like the finish of some of the Cover Girl ones even more! Like the Ballerina, Bronze, and Sky Dust have such a beautiful sheen. The Milani feel very similar in texture (very creamy) but they have little glitters and not as much of a metallic finish. :)

LOVE Lano lip balm too! I'm tempted by both the new donut scent and the raspberry shortcake one. I've literally gone through three tubes in the past year (tried peach, strawberry, and green apple; peach was my fave) because I live in a dry climate and use it every day. The CG eyeshadow sticks are so pretty. I'm glad they changed the tip from the pointed to the rounded shape. Your makeup looks great after 8 hours; thanks for the wear test, as always!
The bronze glow eyeshadow stick is the same name as one of their old school lipsticks, which I have, and absolutely LOVE. I may have to try the eyeshadow version. ❤🥂💃
I have some of those lanolips, they’re nice. But what is even more moisturizing is lansinoh (nipple cream) from the baby department. Great for overnight, I’m excessively dry and it really lasts all night.
The Lanolips Overnight balm is the closest thing I’ve found to the original Bite Agave mask. It is soooooo good! I, too, use a shadow stick often - almost every day, even if just for a base or topper. I love them. I had a few of the CG sticks in my cart, so I was so glad to see you included them in this video! Another great review video! I was also excited when I saw NYX drop glittery butter glosses, but now I'm sad because I don't want to feel the glitter on my lips! Oh well. I'll stick to my shimmery Lifter glosses. I'm definitely interested in the Florence by Mills blush sticks, but I absolutely do not need another blush. Maybe in the future... Catrice True Skin Concealer and Elf Lash XTNDR are two of my favs as well. I really, really wish Catrice was still at Ulta though! I, too, love an eyeshadow stick for lazier days, but I'll stick with Elf and Hard Candy for half the price of those Covergirl ones because they last all day on me too. The shades are pretty though!

It's been my go to for a while (pale and 63 here). The luminosity is so subtle, and it blends really well with any blush I use.

It's a good moisturizer, if you're not allergic to it, and if you're not vegan.

The Colourpop are also a bit goopy. Maybe more so than the NYX ones! The Tarte are the same way also.

I'm not impressed with the LM ones, they're dry and stiff on my crepey lids. These look much better for much less.

That makes sense! Any kind of cream eyeshadow is probably best for dry eyelids. 😊

I love the color of the cheeky pop I purchased ( My Mimi), but I found it doesn’t blend out well. Such a shame because I loved the color.😢
I love lanolips!! I have the watermelon one and it is such a nostalgic scent and works amazing!

I'm in live with the Juvias place gloss stick in velvet pink. The packaging is more like the Mario ones..and very slightly tingly.

I finished one of those glazed donut Lanolips tubes, to me it smelled and tasted like pancake syrup, both me and my fiance kept craving pancakes whenever I wore it, LOL!

I’m so excited about the new shadow sticks! They are great for a one and done. Which drug store shadow stick do you prefer - the cover girl ones or Milani ones?
So far I like the finish of some of the Cover Girl ones even more! Like the Ballerina, Bronze, and Sky Dust have such a beautiful sheen. The Milani feel very similar in texture (very creamy) but they have little glitters and not as much of a metallic finish. :)

LOVE Lano lip balm too! I'm tempted by both the new donut scent and the raspberry shortcake one. I've literally gone through three tubes in the past year (tried peach, strawberry, and green apple; peach was my fave) because I live in a dry climate and use it every day. The CG eyeshadow sticks are so pretty. I'm glad they changed the tip from the pointed to the rounded shape. Your makeup looks great after 8 hours; thanks for the wear test, as always!
The bronze glow eyeshadow stick is the same name as one of their old school lipsticks, which I have, and absolutely LOVE. I may have to try the eyeshadow version. ❤🥂💃

I have some of those lanolips, they’re nice. But what is even more moisturizing is lansinoh (nipple cream) from the baby department. Great for overnight, I’m excessively dry and it really lasts all night.

Does the Beekman sunscreen have a smell? I really don’t like goat milk so I worry about using a product that contains it.
It doesn't really smell like anything to me. It doesn't have added fragrance so it just kind of smells like lotion.

The Lanolips Overnight balm is the closest thing I’ve found to the original Bite Agave mask. It is soooooo good!
I, too, use a shadow stick often - almost every day, even if just for a base or topper. I love them. I had a few of the CG sticks in my cart, so I was so glad to see you included them in this video!

Another great review video! I was also excited when I saw NYX drop glittery butter glosses, but now I'm sad because I don't want to feel the glitter on my lips! Oh well. I'll stick to my shimmery Lifter glosses.

Catrice True Skin Concealer and Elf Lash XTNDR are two of my favs as well. I really, really wish Catrice was still at Ulta though!
I, too, love an eyeshadow stick for lazier days, but I'll stick with Elf and Hard Candy for half the price of those Covergirl ones because they last all day on me too. The shades are pretty though!
WOW those CG shadow sticks look great on you. My lids are very oily so they might crease. Love the blush. My skin eats blush. I need to try it.
