I really enjoy your editing, cadence, and writing style. A very refreshingly honest outlook on the hobby and honestly I think you're criminally under subbed.
Having heard so much about this video my expectations were high. Was still blown away by the painting and the presentation. Also, I think I now have an understanding of visual ASMR
Ive watched this at least four times now. Great music choices and transitions. Working on my 10 model unit of Blightlords using Pro Acryl range. Still trying to finalize my paint scheme
Haha thanks. I don't really time it tbh. I just relax and try to enjoy the process, but the 1st session that got all the green armour completed on all three was 3 hours ish
This was excellent. Got a kill team to paint of plagues and this is absolutely how I'll approach them now! Is the grean you use quite thin as you are stippling it?
Because I am putting many coats of paint, I like to keep the paint on the armour stage quite thin. I really don't wanna build up 3d texture. Having said that, as the green is the last layer you could keep it thicker if you want (2 coats for full coverage consistency) and that might help you visualise how much of the rusty look is showing
I don't use much citadel BUT from what i've seen on the shelves at my LGS. Rhinox hide as the base and keep mixing in more orange to get a triad (3 different levels darker to lighter) I say orange instead of white because that will keep the colours saturated and rust-like. which really helps pull off a grimdark vibe and keep it readable and visually interesting!

Wow thank you!
Please keep making videos. Love your editing and commentary. Oh and your painting is fantastic!! Maybe add a list of paints to the video description.
Thank you! And that is a good idea, thanks for the tip!

Void plzzzzz
please continue, this was amazing
Thanks! I will!
First time watching a video of yours, production is excellent, good commentary, editing and just all around.
Thank you! I appreciate that
Great video but I wished the final result would show the minis without all the special effects so the actual paint job could be appreciated.
That's fair
It's good that you acknowledge you have a problem, right at that start. I've know this for years
I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM I CAN QUIT ANY TIME I WANT
This was absolutely amazing and I look forward to much more
Thank you! Plenty more coming!!!
Amazing video mate, the music, commentary, and editing...spot on. Earned my Sub
Thanks I appreciate that!

I'm glad you enjoy it! I still haven't picked up a box of Blightlords I'm not sure how fun they look to paint. Let me know how it goes!
Earned a sub, the commentary was incredible and funny, paint skills are awesome!
Haha, thanks Jason!
How haven’t known about this channel until now, this was absolutely amazing!
Thanks xD
In your defence I've only just started. Plenty more to come though ;)
Fantastic, loved it all. More please.
More to come!
Great video, looking forward to more! :)
More to come!
This is very cool man👍
Thanks!
Amazing, grandfather would be proud!
7x prouds
the end killed me - Audio Book: "rolled and got back to my feet - cracking my laspistol" while you're scooping up the Paint.
You gotta love a Caiphas Cain audiobook 😅
Very interesting, though you've reminded me I have Death Guard minis from the Dark Imperium set I need to paint, oh and build I guess... 🙄
yeah it's probably best to build them before you paint xD
Fantastic work on the dick board. Top notch. Really interesting background music choices too.
you don't want to neglect such a fundamental part of the mini right? RIGHT??
@@PeachyPixel28 I don’t USUALLY edge highlight, unless we’re talking about a dick board…
They only question I'm left with is what did the different paint taste like? because we all know if you paint enough you've tasted the paint 🤣
Taste test video 🤣
I love the beat drop at "Let's paint". Awesome minis and awesome video. How did working smart go? How long was it painting?
Haha thanks. I don't really time it tbh. I just relax and try to enjoy the process, but the 1st session that got all the green armour completed on all three was 3 hours ish
MOAR! also, thank you
You got it!
Clicked on it thinking “ooh this looks good!” Saw the bracelet and immediately subscribed :3
come for the adornments, stay for the content xD
You are so grimdark ;)

@@PeachyPixel28 that's great, thanks. I'm using mostly citadel. Any advice on what I could use to get a similar effect?

Brilliant, and you'd recommend having some rust colour mixed with the green?
I actually use a skin tone in there to make it feel a lil more gross yano?
Blood for the blood gods, comments for the algorithm
We demand the NEXT episode of that grimdarkish Sci-Fi show!!!
It's coming! 😄
