Great video!! How’s the maintenance of the counters going? Are you able to spray it for cleaning? And it still retains its look. I like sanitize often and use Clorox
It’s holding up pretty good! I spray it with vim all purpose cleaner and no damage hasn’t happen as yet. You do have to be careful with hot pots and don’t cut anything directly on the countertops. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!! ❤️💫

Thank you! The sealant comes off pretty easily because it’s on the contact paper that just peels off. The contact paper is easy to remove but as for the application process you have to be very patient! Hope this helps. When I move I’ll do a take down video. ❤️❤️🥰

Thank you so much!! I actually got the appliances myself and got the landlord to sign an agreement, so when I leave they come with me! I made sure I invested in good ones so they last, if I decide to sell them.

Lol I didn’t want to go through maintaining the DIY appliance. Check out Facebook Marketplace for appliances, sometimes there’s gems on there that are new. That’s where I got mine at an awesome price! 💞

So I did my counters but I'm going to redo it with your technique. Would you say that this contact paper was see through ? It is definitely tedious and time consuming!
That’s awesome! The contact paper I used was thick and easier to manipulate than some. I don’t have much countertop space and it still took me FOREVER lol ❤️❤️ hope yours turn out amazing!
I was thinking about replacing my rented appliances & buy my own too. What did u do with the old ones?
Hi babe! Because it’s a rental unit what I did was write up a contract saying I will be returning all appliances to the renter and using my own, therefore when I move I bring my appliances with me. I also made sure I signed the agreement, management signed and we both have a copy. Then the appliances was removed by the building superintendent. Which was less headache for me lol. Hope this helps! Xx 💞

Yes I told them because I wanted them to come and remove the old one. I also wrote an agreement for both myself and them to sign therefore when I move I bring my new appliances with me! Hope this helps 🧡

I got new appliances but apparently there’s stainless steel looking contact paper that you can use on your fridge. 💕

I actually got an entirely different stove. Check out Facebook marketplace and see what pops up in your area. Hope this helps! 💕

No, I upgraded them myself and asked the landlord to remove theirs

It’s last a very long time as long as you don’t put any hot items on the countertops you’ll be golden 💞💞

Don’t know where you live, but these types of DIY’s does not work in NYC, 😢 the wall paper on everything, yes that’s ok, but everything else is a big no no.
I think it really depends on the landlord. Hopefully you get a landlord as lenient as ours in Toronto 🤗
