    The camera with that kit is exactly what I needed for my last TV because the bezzles were not at a ninety degree angle. The top bezzle was angled slightly downwards so the camera was not pointing at the screen correctly
    Also now that the new kits have a new name they decided to increase the prices.
    I can't believe they're still ignoring the 40" - 55" TVs with their kits. I used the immersion kit 2.0 on my previous 43" TV but I had to loop the light strips twice on the top and bottom and once on the sides to get it to work.

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  2 года назад +2

      We definitely need a strip model for that size window. I do think this pro kit with that bars is cable of stepping in until that finally happens. After all, the monitor showcased is 49”

      @@MrTekSuggest At the moment my Philips TV is 58". I was going to buy a 65" but I'm glad I didn't because the 58" feels huge in my sitting room so I'm going to downsize to a 48" OLED instead.
      I'm not sure I'll go Philips again though. I only have the TV since November last year and it already has the dirty screen effect down the left side and at the top of the screen. Plus the OS starts getting sluggish after a few days if I don't use button remapper and a wireless mouse to close recents.

    I wish you posted more man. I love your videos and really trust your opinion especially with govee. Also they really do need a 40’-50’ immersion kit. I have the 2.0 and I’d buy a kit specifically for smaller tvs with absolutely no problem

    Hello MrTek Suggest, Thank you for this wonderful review, and very nice video. I have a question : I am somehow stuck in the middle, as I am getting the LG C2 42" as my Desktop monitor. What would you suggest to get the G1 pro or T1? Like you said, G1 pro appears more sensible, but I don t know whether I will miss the dedicated cool and warm color chips. T1 seems to be little dated and may be too big for a 42". Thanks in advance

    Do you prefer the light bar set up over the strip light set up? I was thinking of the new light bar with camera or the strip light with camera for my 65’ tv. Thank you for your insight

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  2 года назад +1

      Hey man, the light bar combo kit is definitely not necessary. More of a personal preference. If you have a really large wall behind your TV, you may appreciate the additional lumens the bars add. If your media space is average or fairly small than the strip alone is a good bet as well.

    I got this and can't seem to get the calibration to work right. Colors are never right, especially with white being yellow the majority of the time. It also seems to try to copy the middle of the monitor and not the sides. So the bars and shit do not match the edges. I'm just going to go with it for now but I am not enjoying it as much as I was hoping I would. :(

    Do you think it would be possible to install this on a 55" lg c1 tv?

    • @MrTekSuggest
      @MrTekSuggest  2 года назад

      You know it’s definitely possible if you put your mind to it. But you may not be happy with the overall brightness for 55. 50 and under is more ideal. A crazy idea though, it’s to install a general Govee RGBIC strip on the back of the TV alongside the G1 rope and sync it using the G1 as the DreamView sync center.

  • @Steve30x

    May I request if at all possible try install the G1 Pro lights on a TV of around 43"?
    I changed my TV last November to a PHILIPS 58PUS8535 but it's really not the one to watch. Also the 58" TV is way too big for my room.
    I'm getting my LG 43" 43uk6400plf backlight repaired and the only option GOVEE has for smaller tvs is the G1 Pro. I have the immersion kit 2.0 but it didn't work right on my LG TV and it was a pain to get it installed on the back of my TV as well as the bezzle on the TV was at a slight angle downwards so I needed to get creative to mount the camera on my TV.
